At the center of Old Ashberg lies the Town Square, a 250 yard by 300 yard rectangle, meaning that the very name Square is a lie... Cobblestones pave the entire area, and many streets start from the Square. A large golden fountain sits in the middle of the Square.
From the fountain, one can see every landmark that makes the Town what it is, like the Crusty Bucket Hill, a couple of miles from town, the Forest of Death, the Inn, the Drunken Roleplayer's Tavern, and the Town Hall.
There is plenty of room for almost anything to be done in the Town Square, like setting up a bazaar, a large guild meeting, or several other not yet conceived ideas.

*Goll walks up to the fountain, drinking out of a flask.* "...I didn't realize that our guild was this rich..." confused *He sits on the edge of the fountain, and watches the emptyness of the Square.*
