I myself think they could have done better with the items... I own one of the eygptian gowns...The black one. mrgreen
I mean some of the items are nice but some head dresses would have been nice... Something new you know? I mean they always to the same things with these items they have to spice them up a bit if you ask me. Dress them up, make something new and interesting. For me I just think they are to simple and could of made better clothes. Eygptians are known to be rich in detail and bright, colorful...

I think they could of added some sort of gold trim to the fabric. Maybe they could of added a new pet aswell, like an Egyptian cat or an Anubis hound or something. I'm really not impressed either.

Well, I'm a little late, but I completely agree. I like the accesories like the anklets and the rods, but the actual clothing is lacking. There isn't much you can do with them. I mean, they put so much detail into the Parisian fans but left these items completely bare. It was a big let down.

I agree. There wasn't many things they could of done but they could have at least made a the items more detailed....

It was a little of a let down, the Egyptian items. It's really hard to make a truly original avatar these days, at least I think so. There's always going to be like eight million people who say they've seen it a billion times already...

I think the problem is that the admins and the gaia designers like to play up to the sterotypes a little too much. they want items that will be well recived and aren't really willing to take risks, all of the items that they have released lately have been so... neutral... I'd like to see some really gutsy items, like the nitemare set, when it was first released. I always thought those items were great because they give charcter to the avitar, it's not so bland.

That's a good point. I never noticed that everything is so bland, but I have noticed that it's hard to portray certain styles through the clothes that are available at the moment. And it's hard to be very colorful, becuase everything that's the same color seems to match. They need some bold pastels or bright flourescent colors or something...
