I support this movement and encourage you to continue. A suggestion I can give you is make this an actual sub form with other forms inside of it such as a grammar class or a spelling class where you earn grades. You could have to type a paragraph or something and post it then whomever is allowed to edit ((A teacher)), can say what mistakes they found or illuminate what they found somehow, change color or something, and for each mistake, make them do something. Be it kiss someone or embarrass themselves some other way.
Maybe have a No Word Allowed section where you have to go to type an exam or something and you can't use Word to correct errors. Granted this would make a trust issue because you cannot check to see if word was used but if it's obvious like they have the wrong two or something, they could have to go back threw the classes maybe.
Another fun class would be "How to RP" where you get the basics on what's a Mary Sue, what god modding really is, and what to avoid when making a character. I know that we should all know said topics but I think most of gaia still creates Mary Sues and godmodding people because it's what everyone else does and if they don't, they'll get swamped.

Perhaps not a school with grades so much. (heaven knows I can't stand more grades...)

Perhaps more of a school with a tutorial that shows what is the mistake and what is correct.

I think this is a great idea. I know I am not perfect at the grammar and spelling (especially spelling) thing but I see people on Gaia that are much worse. THe things that bother me the most though, are txt tlk or whatever you want to call it. >.< I'm not sure the classes with grades would be such a good idea. I know I don't want to be graded over the summer. I agree that we could just have people mark what was wrong and then we fix it.

lol, Yes it does, and it lets you know who is interested in learning.

I have a few ideas!

1) Commonly used words and synnonyms((sp?)) to help with better writing
2) Comonly misspelled words to help with spelling
3) Run-on sentences and phrases

And maybe it it is to help writing styles: . There is so much in writing that it people understood it would be awesome!

I don't know. I get carried away...I don't know if all that is possible but that is stuff I want to work on. I don't know if I spelled those words right or not... >.< But yeah. Fun stuff. ^_^
