Don't waste the money if you plan on playing it.
The cheapest one on there is $1,363 U.S., and in comparison with other ESP's that are about 1/6th of that price, it's really just an average piece of machinery with flashy appearances- much like the Les Paul series of Gibsons, another overpriced guitar set.
1. It has just 21 frets. The ESP AX-50 has 24, and costs $316 U.S. list price.
2. The white guitar is the only one with more than one humbucker pickup- it's the only one that will have decent volume and audible changes in tone.
3. They're all bolt-on neck guitars. Superior models are neck-thru--meaning the neck is built into the body, not bolted onto it. Much more solid and lighter-weight.
4. Due to the way the body curls up in such a manner, it would be very difficult to play any sort of melody (non-chords, i'm talking about soloing) past... oh, say, the 8th fret.
5. Notice that the Edwards Artist series is drastically cheaper than the rest- also notice that the Edwards Artist series has a fretboard made of rosewood, a more typical wood for such a purpose, and all the rest are made of ebony, a very expensive dark hardwood.
But, I'm just a sound nut, not so much an appearance nut. It looks great as a concept, though.

I love his guiatrs...I know he has a lot of them though. There's the blue jeune fille and the white and the black onefrom his old days in malice mizer, then their is the bloody jeune fille and the moi dix mois jeune fille. he also has a weird shaped one he used once in a concert. plus by what that site shows, there are 3 type of dix guitars so he has to have at least 10 guitars in his posesstion. eek
