I just CAN NOT get into it. It may be because I just had a baby and she's ALOT of work, but I'm just having trouble getting interested in it.

Me too. I bought it when it first came out, tediously read half of it page-a-day style, and put it down after she finds the cat in the mailbox. Even that part didn't interest me, and I'm guessing that's where it's supposed to "get good".
I ought to go back and try again... but I'm re-reading the DT series now because I've been inspired by the comics.

Okay, I'm almost done. It did get alot better, connects with the DT series (I think). It did end up getting good, but a third of the way through. I would read it again, but not any time soon

I had to force myself to stick with it in the 1st part of the book but one it got past the packing up of the barn and some past story setting it did get really good.

Okay, I finished it. It was hard has heck to get started, but indeed one of his best books in recent years (DT excluded).

I had a hard time getting started on this book. I found it hard to get into, but then once all the weird stuff started I couldn't put it down wahmbulance

I liked it. It wasn't difficult to get into for me, but I definately didn't find it completely satisfying. sad

Lisey's Story is my second or third-favorite book by Sai King. I enjoyed it immensely. neutral
