So I figured I'd make one just in case.
But then I remembered I do have something to post! 4laugh
So for anyone that read my Health Issues thread, I'm currently going to therapy, and will be for a few more weeks at least. It turned out not to be a nerve or anything. When I was evaluted, the therapist said that somehow my right hip is tilted a bit forward at the point where your tailbone fuses to the pelvis. Which is why I'm so much more flexible on the right leg than the left. She said a lot of things could cause it, but it's likely just normal wear and tear considering how I'm used to sitting. So the only reasons for therapy are to put my hip back in its proper place and strengthen the muscles around there so that it stays in place. 3nodding I't not really that hard, even when I feel like I'm going to fall off the excercise ball. sweatdrop

That's very odd.. I've never heard of that happening. o_o; I'm glad you did not have to go through surgery, though. <3 This is going to be an awesome forum once people start actually creating threads and posting (I think most people are not yet aware that it has been added).
Anyhoo, good luck at therapy. ^^ Keep us updated on life, and I will stalk your thread here. =]

FrozenIntellect That's very odd.. I've never heard of that happening. o_o; I'm glad you did not have to go through surgery, though. <3 This is going to be an awesome forum once people start actually creating threads and posting (I think most people are not yet aware that it has been added).

Even though I shouldn't exert myself, I'm gonna walk to Rite-Aid and buy myself some juice. . .since we have none in the house. >.<
Sabi: AP English, AP US Gov, Molecular Genetics, Honors Choir, Advanced Speech and Drama, Social Teachings (mandatory theology class, ick), and Creative Writing. Well, there's a study hall in there too, but I go home on open campus days, so it's not like it counts. ^^ What about you?

Well.. we obviously have different school set up..
Last semester I took:
AP US History, AP Calculus AB, Academic Decathalon, Sr. Release (I started off playing tennis.. but those classes were so hard, I'd more or less stopped sleeping, so I had to drop my #2 varsity position. -_-)
This semester:
AP English IV [british lit?], AP Govt/AP Econ [it's A/B day schedule], Teen Leadership [blow off class and a great way for me to study/apply psychology theory], and Sr. Release.
So... do you do the 7-classes a day thing? We have a college accelerated block schedule. 9, 18, or 36 week classes, 4 classes a day..
And.. you are in choir? I totally want a .wav or something of you singing!! ^^ Please? And what section do you sing? (I don't know what they call it.. but I mean.. alto? or suprano? Or what?)

Sweet, you were varsity? *high five for you* Oh god, so many AP classes. >.< No way you'd get me in any kind of AP math. Actually, we don't have a lot of AP classes available, it's rather frustrating. Our Psychology course was considered Honors last year, even though we got college credit for it, but this year they made it into an Honors and an AP. Is Sr. Release some kind of senior class? *can't figure out what it is*
Yep, we do a A/B day thing too, so 4 classes a day for our "college prep" school. Not a lot of flexibility with the schedule right now, as more and more classes are becoming required. Seriously, our freshman and below will have to take summer classes if they want any electives when they're juniors/seniors. Luckily, I came through before a lot of it was required. *hugs my electives*
I sing soprano, always. ^^ I don't have much of a low range, and would be considered a coloratura, which is a soprano that specializes in very high music that's technically challenging. Lots of scales, trills, and other things like that. Anyone that hears me talk can tell that, I sound really young because of how high my speaking voice is, lol. Dunno if I can set up some kind of .wav thing or not. I've been thinking about it, but I'd need to find my microphone for this thing, lol. I'll let you know if I figure it out. 3nodding Meanwhile, I can send you some of the music I'm working on, if you'd like?

AHHHH! Why is life ganging up on me? sweatdrop
Well, today was supposed to be my last day of therapy. But my mom forgot and had me come home on the bus, which meant I got home 15 minutes after I was supposed to be there. So it's tomorrow. >.<
On a good note, Prom should be fun. 4laugh

So today has been a mix of highs and lows. First of all, the most important:
Prayers and good thoughts for all those affected, involved in, or victims of the Virginia Tech shooting. There's nothing anyone can say to make it better, but I do hope that everyone can find it in themselves to gradually deal with and heal from this.
I'm going to talk to my school's dean tomorrow about wearing orange and maroon on Friday, as the VT students have asked all the schools in America to support them by wearing their school cololrs. Anyone that reads this or the other thread, perhaps you could do the same? It's not very reasonable for anyone of us to send flowers or anything like that, but at least it would let them know we are thinking of them and their loss.
Second of all: The Day of Silence is tomorrow. I had no idea, because no attention is paid to it in my city. My school did this once, my sophomore year (2 years ago) but haven't done it since, and no one can seem to tell us why. I have a feeling a lot of it has to do with being an all girls Catholic school, that either it made the students too uncomfortable, the administration didn't want to do it in the first place (they've got a history of not being too accepting of lesbians), or the teachers thought it was disrupting the class. What really pissed me off when we did have it though was that other students treated it like a damn game. "Let's trick them into talking!" Isn't that so funny? No one got what it was really about.

Sr. Release = Senior Release.... it means I don't have a last block. So I technically have class from 7:15am to 12:50pm while most people keep going until 2:30pm. ^^
Gah, and our school is adding requirements, too... I'm SO glad to be out after this year. My brothers are going to have a fun time of school. O_o;
Soprano [sorry, I misspelt it earlier. ><]... That's amazing. I have no idea how you do that... My friend, Bunny, is a (second?) soprano. You guys sing so high. xD I would.. break something trying to do that. lol..
Hehe, congrats again on your sta~ff. [Ack, well.. I tried to sing... I think it broke my monitor... O_o;]. And how did your last day of therapy go? Is everything all back to normal now? <3
Oh gosh, I saw a couple of short news clips on the VI Massacre (as they are calling it)... However, I cannot seem to find out WHY he did that?? What was his reasoning, or what made him snap? o_o;
Omg, I wish we had a Day of Silence!! The school district next to ours does it, but ours no longer does. ><; Lucky... (Even if those guys were being jerks about it).
Anyhoo.. sorry, I haven't gotten to check back here in a while. Hope your day goes well. =D

So, there are auditions to sing the Ave Maria at my school's May Crowning tomorrow morning at 7:15 in the freaking morning. >.< I really, really want this part, it's the only thing I want to do for the service. Problem is, there's a lot of people that are trying out. As long as one of the girls doesn't get it, I'd be okay, disappointed, but ok with it. I can't stand the way she's been bragging that she's sure to get the part because she's the best singer in the school and because she does everything for our choir director. Not exactly in the spirit of Mary, is it?
Anyway. . . *fingers crossed*

Meh, didn't get it. Didn't quite expect it either, considering my school has been determined not to let me get anything resembling a main part the whole time I've been here. At least the bragging girl didn't get it, and the girl who did should go a nice job of it.
