Post any ideas you have that you think might benefit this guild. Or maybe mutation colors you think should be added. If you want a color added, I'll need a description of how it looks, its sizes, whether it Impresses males, females, or both, and the kind of person it will Impress.

Hmm...it just occured to me that Wingleaders need to be designated. Also, I noticed that Fiacha has no Weyrleader and her Queen should've risen at least once since coming to Shining Heights.

I know. I'll be creating the wings once we have more dragons. And as for the Weyrleader position, I'm gonna wait before deciding, so don't worry about that.

I think we need a Alexandrite colord dragon...that would be cool!

Alexandrite

Like Teals, they are a rare color, and only Impress on HADs and FADs. But unlike Teals, they are only female and Impress manly girls. The look to be the color purple under the light of glows but in sunlight they look purpley-blue. They are built like greens, very agile, but reach the size of small browns, usually reaching 25-35 meters. They are great Thread fighters, because they can fly fast like the greens but last longer during fall. They seem lively and to be jokesters, but it is really a mask. Alexandrites love to think and are quiet, usually keeping their feelings for their riders alone. They are quick to get angry when someone had insulted their rider, or themselves. They also always work to improve their thread fighting abilities, never tiring of practice. They generally Impress riders that hide their true feelings but have short fuses also.
They are generally flown by teals, blues and browns. They are always sterile whether they chew stone or not.

It's my violet dragon! *points frantically* And NAA, are you sure that's Alexandrite? It sounds like my darling Tanzanite. *Cuddles her white gold ring with the blue-violet stone* It's one of the prettiest stones I've ever seen and also the alternate birthstone for December. mrgreen

A comment on the bio for them as well, You said they're always sterile, so how can they have a Clutch? Sterile means they can't lay eggs, whic means they wouldn't be able to Clutch. Please change that to whatever you meant, thank you.

I just did a check up on Alexandrite and... Alexandrite, as far as I can tell, is generally green or pink. There is one image that's blue violet, but it says under it that it's blue topaz and that is totally wrong.... Are you sure that you aren't thinking of Tanzanite? Or is Alexandrite a more proper name for another stone?

(P.S. Did you craft these to be the perfect dragon for your girl? Cause to be quite honest, purple isn't usually a color assosciated with men, and you said they Impress manly girls- of which there are very few, and probably always will be very few-, like your Al.)

They need a little tweaking. But I might add it. I dunno. If I do ever add it, I am going to change some thing about it, jsut a warning for you so you aren't surprised if it has been changed a bit.

sweatdrop Hum...I know I'm discribing my birthstone and Alexandrite is what it's called and that is what my stone does, so I really don't know who is right.
Oops, I guessed I missed typed some spots...*runs off to fix post*

redface Sorta did craft her for Al because I like her alot and didn't want to change her to fit a dragon.

Ah ha. What month are you born in? June? It said Alexandrite is the backup precious stone for June in my search, but the Alexandrite I saw was- as I said- pink and green. I was just wondering if you picked the name and a random color or if you've actually seen blue-violet Alexandrite.

Yah, I was born in June, and I have seen a blue/violet Alexandrite. I was always told that it used to be the primary birthstone, but then became really rare so it's not th e pearl and moonstone. June is wacked. ><
I was at the library today and did some of my own research. We are both riget. Alexandrite saphire is blue/violet and some other kind of Alexandrite is red/green.

Ah, I gotcha. Alexandrite sapphire. ^_^ Prolly explains why I couldn't find blue-violet Alexandrite on my search! Lol

I think we should have a rainbow dragon that's male. It seems that all of the cool colors are female. 3nodding

I have one for you:
Obsessed/red (you pick the name you like)
Reds are very large, and can be as large as a bronze at times. They can impress on HADs or FADs, and impress only on boys. If they impressed on girls, it is only because they have a boy's type of personality. They are very outgoing to make their riders happy, and never give up on anything. They are maybe the only dragon that really goes nuts on gold, hence one of their names obsessed. They are manly hatched around the very warm summer, which shows that they can be pretty common. When in thread fall they can not last as long, but can be touched by thread for more than a few seconds, and can chew larger amounts of firestone than the average male.
They can fly mostly any female.

How about we have an events page where all the events going on are posted, so that if someone is gone for a while, they can catch up fairly easily?
