C'nor and Tenath dropped silently into the Weyr Bowl. They had just returned from a border patrol, and everything had been quiet. Almost too quiet. They hadn't heard from Keli and her rebels in days, and that worried him. What do you think dear heart? he asked Tenath.
Maybe they have gotten tired of pestering us. the bronze replied.
I hope you are right. C'nor said, walking into the Weyr.

Wave was lounging in the kitchens, sipping a cup of klah. She had Trementh had come in earlier from their patrols. Nothing. She hadn't even heard the word 'raid' breathed by the holders here. Which was odd, because the Rebels made it a point to raid the holds of animals and even children for candidates. She looked up as another rider walked in. She dredged up his name from her memory. It was C'nor. She had spoke to him a few times, but they weren't friends or anything.

C'nor gave Wave a smile of greeting. He pours himself some klah, and looks at the other rider. "Find anything on your patrol?" he asked polietly.

She watched as he poured himself his own mug of klah and sat near her. "Of course not." she said, snorting. "There's nothing to find. Those Rebels are planning something, I know it. There haven't been any raids for weeks. They've never gone this long without raiding somewhere." She snorted again, taking a small sip of her klah.

C'nor nods sipping on his klah. "I agree. I think that we should mount extra patrols, just in case. But that is just my opinion."

"You could try and talk to the Weyrwoman about that." she said, gazing at C'nor over her mug, giving him a level look. "And I think it is a good idea as well. Those Rebels are too tricky. It's too bad Keli was a dragonrider, then she could have been executed instead of exiled. Then we wouldn't have had any trouble."

He nods in agreement, "That treacherous woman has already caused enough chaos." He stands up, "Thank you for you're input. I believe I shall go find the Weyrwoman and give her the report."

Wave nodded. "You go do that, then. I believe she's at the Lake at the moment, washing Amarith." she told him, trying to be helpful.

He gives Wave a friendly smile. "Thank you again." With that he walked out to the Bowl and called Tenath. To the Lake. he said to Tenath as he mounts him. Tenath glides down to the lake in the center of the Bowl. Dismounting, C'nor approaches the Weyrwoman respectfully.

A Bronze one approaches.
Fiacha looked up from where she was scrubbing Amarith to watch as a Bronze dragon descended, his rider jumping off and walking up to her. She smiled when she saw him. "Good afternoon, C'nor." she said to him. He had been a rider before she had, so she had known him since she was a Candidate at the old weyr.

C'nor smiled warmly at Fiacha. "Good afternoon Lady Fiacha." Turning to the Queen, "Good afternoon to you as well Amarith." Turning back to Fiacha, "Mi'lady, the patrols have all returned and everything seems calm. I and a few of the other riders believe that the Rebels might be up to something, and that it might be a good idea to mount extra patrols just in case."

Fiacha closed her eyes for a moment. Keli, what are you up to now? She opened her eyes back up at looked at C'nor. "Yes. You have my permission to assemble more riders for patrols. I'd like to have groups of three go out instead of just a lone dragon and rider." she told him, nodding slightly.
