So I figured I should slap up one of these, since every forum in the known world has one. For those of you who don't know me (and, as of now, none of you don't know me sweatdrop ), I'm Rihga, co-creator of "Lux Nova." I'm a Japanese major at Midwest College #42, and will probably be minoring in English by the end of the semester. I enjoy writing, drawing, reading, theatre-going, anime-watching, politics, playing RPGs, DDR, and random Wii party games, and chilling with my groups of freakin' awesome friends.

My favorite bands are Nightwish, Tokyo Jihen,and L'Arc~en~Ciel, and my favorite movies are currently "Spirited Away," "Kill Bill (Vol. 1 & 2)" and "Little Miss Sunshine." I enjoy "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report," hate reality-TV, and love penguins.

Mostly though, I'm excited to be working on my very first homemade RPG.

Oh, and by the way, feel free to start new threads in this forum when you want. It's the Chatterbox, after all, so have fun with it. If the thread dies, I'll shuffle it into a Archive... once the guild gets enough gold to create an Archive, anyway. ^^

Oh, yeah, books: I read everything. Favorite: The Brothers Karamazov. Lemony Snicket and Tamora Pierce rock my world, too.

So yeah...hello all who may not know me. The name's Eric, but I just go by "V" on gaia, so feel free to refer to me in whichever way suits you best.

Um, I'm a music composition major in the University of Missouri-Kansas City, wrapping up my junior year. I play the piano, and love to rock out on DDR, ITG, and Guitar Hero 2. I don't have much of a favorite anything...I'm too lazy to do more than have a general appreciation for things in most genres of entertainment, except for perhaps anime, in which my current favorite series is Death Note.

I'll think of more stuff if I can. As for now, you should be my friend, 'cause y'know, I'm cool like that.

Ahh, a fellow Pianist and Fan of V. I was V for halloween this last year...and will continue to do so in the coming years as I see it...I love the character.

Don't worry, I don't use -bombastic- writing all the time. Okay, so I lied. A lot of the time I do.

right, a little about myself. I love trees, pretty much everything Alicia likes, avatar (yes, I have problems...), and I thouroughly enjoy playing with the space-time continuum.

Actually, I'm not. I'm watching how money is being made. It's incredibly boring. But in 22 minutes, an alien show comes on. I love aliens. But alicia won't let me have one. she's MEAN!

There is relative. For example: I am here, to you I am there, but to me you are there and I am here. However, in the case of hypothetical person C, we are both there, and not here

Because we went here, and obviously you cannot GO here, unless by GO you mean go as in Peeing. If I were to pee HERE, to you I would be peeing there, either way it is utterly disgusting and a horrible example which leads us to an off-topic discussion. Back to the topic of here and there, you can think of it as a displacement problem. A baseball player can run around the bases, which is around....360 feet, if it is not, we will pretend. while the baseball player Runs from point A 360 feet, he will end up at point A again, meaning that his total displacement is zero. You can think of the example as an obscure connection to our debate whether or not I went there, or if I went here. It does not matter. If I go from here to there, there becomes here. It is as though Here is home plate, and there is home plate while on third plate. Here is point A, and by going there, I ended up here, back at point A, making my total displacement ( also known as X) zero. This is simple physics.

^^ now, to find the total velocity of how I ended up there, also known as here, we will need a formula, V= X/T. How long did it take? It doesn't matter, since displacement is zero, the velocity is undefined, and therefore we cannot make a vector out of this problem.
Overall, you proved nothing by saying I went there.
