You must have a class for your character. If you wish to see one that we haven't put on please tell us and we will consider it. All characters must have at least one class stated in their profile. You may have more than one, but no more than three different classes for a single character.

Example: You can have a Hunter Merchant, but you cant have a warrior druid mage thats a sailor.

Priest/Priestess: This class of people have the most direct contact with the Gods of Joura. They are mostly of the Good or Neutral alliance, and only rarely on the Villains side to try and bring Lilie back or to follow her now dead rule. They have the most pure from of Holy Magic, able to draw from the God's power in the God's Kingdom for the Holy spells. Only some that have dealt with other magic’s can do other than Holy Magic, but it is rare as well.

Healer: A person who has some skill in Holy Magic, but they are not as strong as the Priests when it comes to their magic. These people also deal in other Magic kinds, but they are more refined in the Holy ones. They are found in every Alliance group.

Warrior: The strongest of all the classes when it comes to brute strength, they are skilled in hand to hand and unmatched in heavy weapons combat, but they lack in magic and on the occasion, intelligence. But that lacking intelligence is only slight, as they are very good battle planners and are usually well prepared for any fight they may come across. Just dont ask them for a good book.

Mage: A person very learned in the art of magic and spell weaving. Mages are usually learned in one kind of magic, (i.e. Earth, Water, Fire, ect.) their skills in that one subdivision the most powerful in all of Joura. They can know some of the other magic’s, but they mostly stick to the one.

Puppeteer: A puppeteer is a person who has the magic ability to bring a small, or medium sized puppet to life through a form of Life magic. This puppet is usually self mobil and on the occasion has the ability to talk to other people and hold a conversation. Many other puppets are used for attacking purposes, but almost all puppets are under complete control of their creator. Only in the cases of strong magic’s are people able to channel an actual Sprit of another being into the puppet.

Temptress/Tempter: These people are the best looking, sexiest people in all of Joura. Most of the time a temptress will be a Succubus, but other races have been known to take up this job as well. A Temptress isn’t known for fighting, preferring to avoid them all together. When it comes to fighting, however, they will usually get someone else to do the fighting for them by using their good looks to get someone of the opposite sex to take up arms.

Assassin: This group of people live in stealth and secrecy. They are not known for being the easiest people to spot, always lurking in the shadows and mainly out at night, so it is hard to employ their services unless you know where to look. Skilled in the use of daggers and other small weapons, they prefer the sneak attack and backstab methods to kill their targets.

Spy: This group of people are also ones who live in shadows and secrecy. They are not great fighters in the long run, preferring a dagger as their weapon of choice they also will take a backstab approach to killing if forced into having to kill. They are better known for gathering information, making them easier to find than assassins for a job.

Sorceress/Sorcerer: Stronger than Mages but weaker than Wizards, Sorcerers are skilled in the art of magic casting and the perfecting of spells. While they do posses some inborn skill of magic, they also are known for using items to enhance their magic skills, often referring to an enchanted piece of jewelry. They can also enchant an item if paid for their services or given some other service in return.

Blacksmith: The best at the forge, these people pride themselves on their ability to making anything at the forge and anvil, and being the best. These people get the most work with travelers that go adventuring since they are the ones who buy the weapons and run through the Kirin shoes the fastest. Blacksmiths can be found in every city, and sometimes on the well-traveled roads. There are subdivisions of Blacksmith, which can be harder to find than a general Blacksmith.

-Leathersmith This kind of Blacksmith specifies in the art of leather crafting, taking simple leather from the animals of Joura and making them into armor or clothing for the people. These types of Blacksmiths are the hardest to find of the ones listed, since most do not have a great need for leather.

-Weaponsmith Probably the most common of the listed Smiths, the weapon smith has taken the art of fixing weapons to an extreme. These people have the finest skill at the mending and making of sturdy weapons for every kind of traveler of every race known to Joura. Getting a weapon from a weaponsmith is the finest you can get in all the world.

-Armorsmith These people, much like the weaponsmiths, have taking the art of armor making to an extreme. This kind of Blacksmith is best known for the making and mending of armor worn by travelers of all kind, as well as the guards of the towns. Getting armor from an Armorsmith is the best armor one can receive in all of Joura.

Thief/Rouge: These people are best known for getting any kind of item that can be imagined, for a price anyway. Thieves, also known as Rogues, are yet another group of people who live in shadows, although they are not quite as secretive as their Assassin and Spy counterparts. Rowdy and childish in nature, Rouges are better know for having a good time before getting to work, often found in bars and Inns or anywhere they can get a drink for the most part. They are also found in any place that could bring in the most work from the highest paying clients.

Knight: A knight is much like a warrior in the field of brute strength, except they have a great loyalty to a single person or town. To be a knight is to give your services to a person, persons, or place for pay and lodging, making this class the best and most steadily paid class of them all. Knights are best known for their orderly method of doing things while on the job. Holding ranks and fighting in a orderly manner makes a group of Knights very deadly in battle.

Paladin: A mix of Warriors and Healers, a Paladin has the best of both worlds. Being able to heal at a thought and holding some strength equal to that of a Warrior, these people are very deadly on their own, and even more so in a group. All Paladins are to be on the Hero Alliance. The views of a Paladin are very lawful, good natured views, making them the poster children of the Hero Alliance. Only on a rare occasion will a Paladin be of Neutral Alliance, though they will only help those of the Hero Alliance.

Hunter: These people are the best with the bow, and better at tracking the creatures of Joura. While most hunters are solitary people, it is not a stereotype of the people of Hunter Class. The bow being their preferred weapon, the hunter can hit a moving target better than anyone from further than anyone.

Medium: Mediums are people who have the ability to tap into and communicate with the people, creatures, and general beings presiding in the spirit world of Joura. All things that die in Joura go to the Spirit world to wander if they are not given special places to go by the gods before death, or even after. The Medium is the only person capable with complete communication with the dead and the spirits, but not the gods. Some Mediums talk for the spirits they wish to communicate with, while others simply allow their bodies to be possessed and letting the Spirit “borrow” the body for the time it needs. The stronger the Medium, the more control one has over the possession type communication, and the ability to talk to the “harder to get to” spirits.

Entertainer:These people provide the rest of Joura with, well, entertainment! They are the actors, tricksters, comedians, and everything in between that make the people of Joura happy and content when it comes to their boredom. They employ a list of tricks and magics to make the performance seem alive and real to the people they perform for. They can either travel the roads with a caravan of Entertainers, or be centered in a singular city.

-JugglerThe Juggler is one of the refined skills as an entertainer. They have honed their ability to juggle many objects at a time, or many sharp or dangerous items at a time. This makes their work beautiful to the eye, and almost soothing if someone allows themselves to be drawn into it too deeply. Most Jugglers are very quick with their hands with it comes to dealing with objects, and better at balance than most. In battle some Jugglers are known to wield multiple weapons at once, and are better with a circular attack motion. They are quick and deadly with their weapon of choice, which is usually incorporated into their juggling tools in some way.

-Dancer One of the other skills of the Entertainer. The Dancer is a very beautiful person to begin with, but when he or she begins to dance, they are mesmerizing to everyone watching. They can dance through a song to its end, even ones they have never practiced to before, and can make up a new dance on the spot better than anyone in Joura. The dance of a Dancer can be hypnotizing, which it used to a Dancers advantage to get information from people. It can also slow an attack or completely negate one. In battle the dancer can wield any weapon while attacking and still look like they are performing a dance to the music of battle.

Wizard/Witch: The Witches and Wizards of Joura are considered the oldest and wisest of the mortal races. They have the highest refined skills of Magic and are usually easy going and helpful to those who seek them out. They do not have limits of the other Magic using classes in that they are skilled in everything, fire, lightning, healing, ect. Wizards and Witches are usually helpful when called on, but on occasion, if they don’t like the look of you, they will turn you down. Very powerful in combat, Wizards/Witches are feared by the opposite alliance, and the neutral ones are coveted by both sides as they wish to attain the power the wizard holds. They have the seemingly magical ability to disappear from a room of area without a trace, though this is merely a secret of the class.
(PM Crytuf to learn the secret, but only if you are of Wizard/Witch class. She will tell you the secret after your profile is up and accepted.)

Mercenary:Free roam, sword for hire, these people will do anything for money. They are mostly muscle for hire, but they have been known to do other things. A Mercenary is very smart when it comes to the best bid, and can easily see the danger of a job a mile away before even getting asked. Unlike most of the Classes, the Mercenary is a collection of different skills. Some Spy, Assassin, warrior and other things they picked up along the way. Anything that will help them get the job done, and done well. They are not know for failing a job, and usually don’t quit until they complete the task.

Beast Master: These people are not known for their people skills, but more for their animal skills. They posses the strange ability to communicate, and understand the animals of Joura where so many others are at a loss. Beast Masters usually have one animal companion that they feel most comfortable with and who is usually the first creature they met. May animal Trainers envy this ability, while others are Beast Masters with training as a secondary class. Beast Masters fight alongside their animal friend, if they have one, and wield either heavy weapons or fight bare handed. If they do wield heavy weapons, this does not effect their speed in battle.

Animal Trainer: Animal trainers are the people to go to if you want an animal to be your companion. They are the most skilled people when it comes to taming animals and getting them ready for the people of Joura to enjoy. They are mostly responsible for the available mounts in the world, and many of the pets come from these people to be sold through Merchants.

Fighter: Fighters are well renowned for their ability to fight without the use of weapons. They are the masters of hand-to-hand combat, not matched anywhere else in sheer skill. They are so good that they have been known to fight armed opponents and win. Some Fighters are known to take the class of Monk and vice versa, seeing as they fit hand in hand with one another. Though Monks are known to use quarter staves as well as unarmed combat.

Merchant: These go to people when it comes to buying all kinds of wears. They sell anything from jewels to clothes, to the raw materials for making your own clothes. Most merchants are great travelers, taking to the road often to expand their circle of trade. But a few do stay in local cities to work, though those are usually big cities with lots of trade to begin with. They are also known to buy and sell from the people as well, and not just from their suppliers. Suppliers include the Blacksmiths, Hunters, Animal Trainers, and many other people who collect items for selling.

Sailor: Sailors are the very best when it comes to the knowledge of Joura’s Seas. They are the people that do much of the sailing across the oceans and are a big part of the trade for Joura’s Cities. Sailors usually have a very balanced hierarchy to their ships, going from the captain down to the lowly crewmember. Most ships are a great part of society, but some have turned to piracy as a form of profit from the hard workers of Joura.

-Captain The leader of the ship, this person is the person in charge and the one keeping the other members of the ship in line as they sail. Captains are usually the ones who have shown themselves the strongest of the crew, or savvier about what is going on. Not all captains are the best, which isn’t good for them or the ship and they can be mutinied by the crew.

-Crew They work under the captain, and they also contain a system of hierarchy leading from first mate to cabin boy. Most crews are happy with their captain and follow the strongest ones to the very end, but sometimes a crew can mutiny and take over the ship, placing one of their own as the new captain. That person is usually the one who organized the mutiny and rallied the crew against the previous captain.

Bartender: These people own and run the Bars, Inns and Taverns of Joura. They are not really fighters or travelers though they have been known to travel to other places to get supplies. But they are very content to staying in their Bars and keeping the other people happy. They usually have a well-rounded staff on hand to help at the Taverns, consisting of barmaids, waitresses, and waiters. Most Bartenders are merry people who are great listeners who are usually there to hear the locals complain about love lives, or to hear the amazing travels from the passing Travelers.
(People who wish to be bartenders must PM Crytuf first. She will tell you what you need to do.)

-Waitress These people are usually hired help under the payroll of the Bartenders they work for. The Waitresses are actually a broad group, which contains the waitresses, waiters, barmaids, and any other hired help the Bartender chooses to hire. These people serve and sometimes entertain the people who come into the bar. Their pay is completely based on what the bartender wishes to pay them, but they are not as low as to accept no pay for their work. That is completely their choice however and may work for free if they really wish too.

Druid: Being very in touch with the earth, Druids have been known to have the ability to change into trees, flowers, ect. They have the intelligence to control plants the way beast masters control animals.
