He sat on the bed and looked at Reika."Well...when I was five my parents died of some rare illness they were studying.They put me in an orphanage for about a week,until an old man adopted me.When I was living with him he taught me how to fight with a rod."He threw his rod to Reika so she could see it."After I somewhat mastered it,he taught me how to fight with a sword.On his birthday he was killed by a heartless.He gave that rod to me and told me to practice somewhere near the town,and when I came back he was dead,gone.After that I hardly went into town anyone,I study how to open portals,and some other stuff..."Ryo sighed."On my birthday I just let without telling anyone.After a two months of just wandering around,I ran into you guys."He smiled."And thats probably the best thing thats happened to me since then."

Reika nodded. "Yeah....I know what thats like.....I was abandoned when i was really young.....I dont remember much....but, Im from Traverse Town, the moogles there raised me, and they taught me how to fight with magic." she tossed him her staff so he could look at it. She looked at his while she continued. "Well....one of our leaders, who isnt here because of some weird portal, is an old friend of mine....he came back to Traverse Town one day and I saw him, so I guess thats kinda how I came to be a chaser........but...Im hoping that becoming a chaser can help me find out about my past......" she looked him up and down, then handed him his staff back. "So...how old are you?"

dorinda looked at him. "No. You killed it." She took a small pause before starting again. "You don't even remember a slight presence taking over your body?"

Dorinda did a small sigh. This is when I wish we have something at hand to record things. "Ryo, I believe you have a..........what was it that Xellky called it........a Heartless/Dark side to you. I don't know how you have it, but for you, it seems to come out when there is a certain amount of danger, less severe then mine. When the danger limit is reached, that side comes out." She decided to stop there. She'll figure she'll tell Ryo later after all his questions were over with on how she knew about that side.

Dorinda did a small smile. "Well, I'll answer that question with a question. Do you think I am one?"

Dorinda looked at him. "Well that's three more than me. I just have a Heartless/Dark side. After all," She added with a smile, "I did say the conditions for yours to come out is less severe than mine. Mine doesn't comeout unless a family member or friend of mine is in danger. Then it gets kinda.......bloody hehe" Dorinda did a nervous laugh on that last part. "As for the nobody, Rix is mine. She's the "daughter" of Xellky and me."

Dorinda looked at Ryo curiously. "What's the book?"
