Surly someone in this guild must know this band. If not, I have wasted my time in this guild. Hardly anyone in this guild appreciates bands that are truly alternative. If nobody replies to this thread I will post one more bashing this guild and leave.
Anyway, discuss the The Flaming Lips. They are one of my favorite bands. Is anyone else waiting for the stage production of Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots?

I love The Flaming Lips.
But srsly, don't go looking for alterntative music here.
Or even good music.
Mostly it's all generic LOL I SAW IT ON FUSE IT MUST BE ALTERNATIVE bands.

All I have from them is Transmissions From The Satellite Heart. My boyfriend let me borrow it, and they're really good. But in all honesty, I haven't actually listened to the entire CD, or memorized any songs at all. I'll get on that sooner or later. I just remember thinking, "...this...is pretty amazing. I'll keep it." 3nodding

I concur, "Do you realize??" Is the s**t.
If you like that you should listen to "My Cosmic Autumn Rebellion" On their newest CD, At War with the Mystics.

I love the Flaming Lips so much that I ganked their "Clouds Taste Metallic" album from a Goodwill.
And it didn't even have any scratches on it. surprised !
They're a fantastic band.
I'd have to say Free Radicals is my favorite song I've heard by them,
but the Yeah Yeah Yeah Song [With All Your Power], Haven't Got a Clue, This Here Giraffe, and Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell are all favorites, too.
