I Rule This Inferno...
So yea, I am deeply sorry if I am overly energetic, but today my girlfriend and I both went and got our personal Satanic Bibles today! It has made me quite happy. I have read it before from a friend, but now I have my own copy, and I am reading it a second time. The first time I read it, I got the gist of what LaVey was getting at, but not all of it. Reading it a second time, and being able to take a closer look into it all, I am loving it more and more. I love his message. Simply reading the SB makes me feel energized and powerful. I am not a complete LaVeyan satanist, nor will I most likely become one, but out of any religion out there, I find the most truth in here. I especially enjoy how he states that "God" and "Satan" are just the forces of light and dark, and not actually beings. I agree with that 100% out of anything. I have a couple other views that are outside of LaVeyan Satanism, such as reincarnation, and the four elements ( Correct me if I'm wrong about this one, and my views on this part are quite complex, so PM or ask me here to elaborate if needed ). But long story short, the more and more I read it, the more and more I see truth, and the more I feel empowered. I'll give out more updates once I finish it ( again ). Right now I'm only 1/2 way through my analytical read-through.
Meanwhile, talk about how the SB makes you feel when you read it, when you got your own copy, and other experiences. Also, just out of curiosity, do any of you have beliefs that are "out" of a LaVeyan Satanist's normal views ( Reincarnation, etc. )? I only want to see what all of you feel, and your opinions.

Yup ^^ I personally like what he had to say about love and hate and the section about the 7 deadly sins. So far, those are two of my favorite parts. I love how he explains things thoroughly and he doesn't contradict himself and he doesn't bag on homosexuals or anything like that.

And then some. I mean, a .pdf is all fine if you share a similar idea as me (I don't want to get ripped off so I'll see if it's good quality. If it is, I'll pay. If not, I'll get rid of it) especially if you lack money, but Pirate really doesn't like .pdfs of TSB floating around the guild. Just a forewarning.

I have a copy of the SB, but I'm letting a friend read it. So, I've got a pdf of it as well. I can post pics of me holding my TSB but it's nice to have a pdf if I need to quote text or something (without having to hold the book in my lap and type it out).
In all actuality, I would like to get a custom personalized leather-bound copy made by someone... but I don't know where I could get that done (or have the money for it).
And I actually have this idea of hand scribing the entire bible out into a blank leather book...

Wow, that actually sounds really cool. It would definatly take some time though. But I think it would be a good experience and help you memorize it XP.
