She spoke at my high school a few weeks ago. Blah.
Being a woman does not automatically qualify her for president in my eyes. And she's taking a lot of heat for her past decisions on Iraq... I can respect some of her accomplishments, but she dances around a lot of important issues rather than taking a stand on them, or at least she did when I saw her. Woman or not, she's a politician.
I personally prefer Obama or Edwards. Though I kind of think it's a little distressing how much emphasis we're putting on the possibility of having "a woman president" or "a black president". After the current administration, all that really matters is getting someone in office that's actually good for this country, regardless of their race/gender/sexual orientation/whatever. neutral

If I could choose, I would take Edwards. I mean, as a person, I respect him tremendously, and I feel that he's the kind of person who we need to lead us. Though I'm eagerly looking forward to the day that a woman, or better yet, a black woman, is elected, I feel that we need people for who they are right now, as there is simply too much at stake right now, between North Korea and Iran, not to mention the domestic issues.

Indeed, however what worries me is that kids may vote for her merely because of her gender.

Loveless_333 Indeed, however what worries me is that kids may vote for her merely because of her gender. While its very possible that may happen, you must admit that anyone without connections to the Bush family would be better than what we have now.

To be honest, I don't care if it's man or woman or whether or not they are black, blue, yellow, red, or green. As long as they can run this country right, then I am happy with whomever becomes president.

All I have to say on the subject is that I find Hillary Clinton to be corrupt and wicked. She is also quite distanced from reality, but so are most politicians.

But...when did we last have a person in power who really knew what they were doing?

Lillith Belial DeSire But...when did we last have a person in power who really knew what they were doing? Creation's flaw; The angels fell without his grace to light our path
Very true, sadly. I think either FDR or Nixon were our last real leaders. I'm not saying I support him, just that he was a good leader.
My top choice is still Edwards though, even if he doesn't survive the primaries.

I am the mirror I am the destiny I am the herald who points the way

I have doubts about Hillary but the facts show she is
smart well educated understands the needs of the office is deeply spirtual
on the con side she is needs to not worry so much about what is 'electable' and stick by what she feels is right

(Personally, I might choose to become an immigrant be this the future of our country wink ) In fragments of an instant The chaos has returned And all that was left to sentiment Beneath the banner burned Will Hillary be the next president? Gods, not if we are lucky....lol... I personally believe that if she is, it will be time to move... to Japan or something... I mean... honestly... the choices this year suck... seriously!! And as that voice was slow receded Into echoes, memory My doubts were re-ignited And fear awakened from its sleep
