Welcome to the Quest Shop! What do you gain at the Quest Shop? Levels! That's what! When you go on quests you can gain skills, money, and women! Okay, not women, but maybe other things!
You have to go on a certain quest to raise your monster to the next level. Sounds simple, no? No, it's only sort of simple. It'll be like the beginner quest you took when you started, only harder. That's right, harder. Just because you buy the quest does not mean you can accomplish it. You need a certain amount of skills to get past certain areas of the quest. Does this mean you'll have to buy it again if you can't pass it? No. Just go battle against a few people and come back to the quest! Is it worth it? I think so.
The quest will be different depending on what element the monster you're leveling up is so don't expect the same thing each time!
So, what should you know before you attempt to level up? Simple, just because you have the money to level up, doesn't mean you should. If you haven't battled, at all, you shouldn't try to level up. You gain skills when you battle and these are needed for the quests.

I will post later on in the bank that I have zero savage points, but I can't right after because of the time limit thing...the one thing I hate about gaia, you have to wait a certain amount of time until you post again... emo

I'll buy a level 1 quest for Charlie. If you can't complete it because he doesn't have enough speed, intelligence, etc., you can go back to it later, right?

Just go on a side quest and contact Starlurk when you've got the required stats. Once you buy it, it's yours until you finish it. Then it kind of goes "poof".
