Tatsuko was lightly sweating as she jumped from branch to branch. She rested lightly on a tree branch, and whispered, "Byakugan!" She watched her surrounding area as she vaulted, and jumped from branches as she continued her mission to River Country.

An artifact of great power told in the legends in the river contry was recently stolen by a dangerous band of theives. You must retrieve the artifact at all costs and un harmed and I suggest you begin asking around for information on the theft. Reinforcments are on the way.

Four ninja stopped from their running and help up a covered object "it took a hell of alot of effort to get this but its finnaly mine" the ninja said with a grin. "Hey don't you mean ours Ren" a ninja wearing extremely thick glasses. "Yeah yeah whatever, lets just get moving" Ren said as the other two ninja began to follow. Though the ninja wearing thick glasses stumbled as he lept and fell on a rock. "Hey whats taking so long Jin?" one ninja asked. "Uh no!" Jin responded as he tried to cover up his bleeding leg but his bandages didn't hold although he knew he was dripping blood he continued forward.

The clone thanked the old women, and went into an alley. It met with another of the clones. "So," said clone number 2, "Was she telling the truth?" The first clone nodded. "As far as I can tell, she was." Clone 2 smirked. "I'll go check around the area, you dispel yourself." There was a pause, before there was a silent nod, the whistle of a shuriken, and a puff of smoke. "Henge!" whispered a shadow, before walking out of the alley. None of the villagers noticed a pretty worker girl with long brown hair, and expressive eyes. Nor, did they notice the way that she walked was like that of a hunter. A devious look appeared on her face. "Shishou will be pleased..." she murmured. "Yes, very pleased indeed...."

Tatsuko ignored the slight pain as information flooded her brain. She grinned beneath her mask, and the fox's red crystal eyes lighted up for a second, before dimming again. "Excellent," she whispered as she changed her direction slightly. "Excellent indeed.... The spy has been planted...." She grinned as she landed at the forest edge, watching the four thieves set up camp. Her eyes lit upon one of them, who was hiding an injured leg, before she smirked and whispered, "So he was the one who made tracking them easy.... I must remember to thank him." Her smirk sharpened into a fanged grin... "Yes..... I must indeed...." She sat back upon her heels, and signaled to the remaining clones. "Set up traps for a radius of three miles in all directions, except for the area closest to the target, and set up as close as possible around an area of ten feet from the camps far edges. Should one of them come out, kill them silently, and take their place henged. We wait until the reinforcements arrive..... It could be fun to test how future Anbu fight.... Go!" Her fanged grin turned feral as she started some hand seals. "Humph..... I'm a Hyuuga, Heir to the Hyuuga clan, master of the Byakugan and the Suiken Kempou, Head Anbu of Konohakegure, and personal guard of the Hokage.... Did they really think that I would not look in all directions?"

Tatsuko stared at the Uchiha boredly. "Ikkachu Uchiha, Head Anbu and personal guard of the shadow Kage..." Tatsuko smirked slightly. "Also the lowest one on the Konoha Bingo book, and known for being a womenizer, and on the list to either kill or capture." She snorted. "Uchiha. Such drama queens." The crimson eyes of her fox mask glinted. How she hated the Uchiha! She tossed her hair slightly as she listened to the theives, and winced as one of them raised their voice drunkenly. She resisted the urge to massage her ears. She wasn't an Anbu, and known as the Shadow Kitsune for just her skills, was she! Her hearing ached slightly as they raised their voices again. She cursed, and finally gave in and massaged her ear, ignoring the Uchiha. He raised his eyebrow. "So you just go and tell me all about myself, and ignore me? Now thats rude!" He sniffed in a mockery of the Hyuuga arrogance. "And not even going to give me the satisfaction of a decent fight either. Tatsuko smirked behind her mask, and didnt even bother to turn around as she said, "What fight? I wasnt aware that you were worth my skills." He gaped slightly, before looking bemused. "Hyuugas" Tatsuko wasnt listning. She stiffened as one of the four by the campfire, seemed to fall asleep. She narrowed her eyes, and suddenly sucked in her breath. Dead? How? She sniffed the air, ignoring the spicy scent of the Uchiha, and realized immediately, that the one had died from bloodlost. "Hmph. Must have died from a severed artery." She ignored the smirk from the Uchiha, and waited unwillingly for reinforcements.

The Akatsuki leader sat in a chair in the shadows of the base "so Shadow and his fools have returned" he said to himself.

The leader sighed "I never needed asistance in re creating this organization." he said.
