OK, so I was about to post a chapter of my book up here, and I got an idea to post this first. We all create characters for our books, right? Well, do any of you have a favorite? If you do, tell us about them and why they're your favorite.

OK, I'll start.
My favorite character would have to be A.J from my book Rebellion. He's just such a sweetheart but he has so many different strengths and weaknesses, so a lot of people can relate to him in certain ways. I love writing my book more because he's in it, and I'm so happy I came up with the idea for him, haha. Definitely one of my better ideas.

I have a couple of favourite characters... One of them is Artemis. He's a vampire by birth, and really doesn't want to be. He's totally sweet and shy with low self-confidence. In one word, huggable.
Another character is my role-play character, Caladria. She's tough, through and through on the outside, but has a soft, womanly side that she rarely shows. She's cool, calm and self-assured, and keeps her head in most situations.

Caladria reminds me of Lynn, another one of my characters from Rebellion. She's got that tough exterior, but she's got that softer inside that doesn't often show.
Artemis sounds like a character I'd probably adore, lol.

I never really create my characters so much. I just base most of them on friends. At least the main characters. There is one of these kind of characters I've enjoyed working with, though, called Jesse because he's really mysterious and fit the role nicely.

My favorite character is one of my main characters from a novel I'm working on. Her name is Annika and she somehow finds herself the captain of a small pirate ship and pretending to be a man. I love her quirks and self important attitude, she gets herself into trouble all the time. It's marvellous. whee

I base my characters off of friends sometimes, but mostly just for looks. It helps me to see them more clearly in my mind's eye, if you know what I mean. The traits and personalities I create myself, mostly. Jesse seems like a pretty cool character smile

I absolutely adore Tanzin, my wildcat thief from a book I'm writing called 'Tanzin Barr'. He's very charismatic and immature, but suave and well mannered as well, which contradicts itself in a way, and he just draws me into writing my book, stealing my free will, if you understand. xD

And then they become real people to me. Almost. So, I'm at first reluctant if I'm going to kill them. I have to decide who's going to live before I develop them as much.
