The rain pours outside the bar. Chris is on the phone with Ivan who is standing outside the hospital.
Chris (On phone): She left?
Ivan (On phone): Yeah, Scarlet asked what today was and ran off.
Chris (On phone): This isn’t good… where’s Biff?
Ivan (On phone): Max asked for cheesecake so Biff left with Saikoro.
Chris (On phone): Saikoro?
Alice: Did you say Saikoro?
Ivan (On phone): He came to visit Max and said he’d stay in Camdene for a bit.
Chris (On phone): Oh… well I need to call Biff and ask him to look for Scarlet.
Ivan (On phone): He doesn’t have his phone with him; Chris, what’s wrong with Scarlet?
Scarlet opens the door to Biff’s apartment; she looks around the dark room. Scarlet kicks the door behind her and walks around the apartment. The sound of rain is heard outdoors while the kitchen clock ticks in the background. Scarlet walks into the kitchen and looks around the untouched room; a bottle of wine sits on the counter. Scarlet grabs the bottle and opens it with a corkscrew. She takes a sip of the wine and looks down at her shirt; it’s stained with Karma’s blood. Scarlet shivers and runs to the bathroom; she turns on the water and hops in the shower, franticly stripping off her clothes. Outside the rain pounds on the rooftop while the wind blows the dead leaves in the air. A single leaf touches the ground as Scarlet steps one foot out of the shower and turns the water off. She grabs a robe and puts it on, taking another swig from the bottle. Scarlet looks at the bathroom mirror; her hair is damp and her rabbit ears are down. Scarlet starts to laugh manically then suddenly throws the bottle of wine at the mirror – shattering glass falls to the ground as the wine stains the white bathroom floor to a dark red. Scarlet falls down on the glass covered floor; tears roll down her eyes.
Scarlet: Please Goddess... take away the pain…
