No they aren't. They're stupid rumors from people who just want attention. People say it aired in the Philippines. It didn't. I well know many people that live there, so I have proof. Plus, there's no announcements on the official website. It's just gonna be like Fruits Basket. A 26-episode anime based from the manga and the manga would be uber long.

This is now a Sticky and a closed thread, since this question is bound to come up again.
IF they ever do make a season 2, I will anounce it as
"YAY! SEASON 2!!!!" Or something of the sort.
Although I have heard rumours of the author of the manga requesting a season 2, but who knows. Darn those rumour makers! -shakes a fist-
