'Ey! You made it through my five-act play about how to be a ref, you say?
Well, good for you!
Now, if you want to be a ref, here's where you need to be. All you have to do to sign up is post here with the following questions and your answers. (These are only to gauge where your strongpoints and weaknesses will be by your own gauge.)
THE REF SIGN-UP FORM
1. Your interest in battling (1 to 10):
2. Your interest in reffing (1 to 10):
3. How would you gauge your ability to write descriptively?
4. Will you be able to attend Battle Forest somewhat frequently?
5. Will you point at Starlurk and laugh on my command?
Alright! Provided you answer yes to No. 5, you're automatically in.
No, actually, you'll be in no matter your answer. You will be instantly assigned the rank of Trainee. (Later, as more refs sign up, there will be a ranking system listed in the 'Ref Tower'.)

Well, I'm a literate RPer and I pride myself on being able to write almost a page if I try hard enough. I would say, I'm pretty good. ^.^;
4. Will you be able to attend Battle Forest somewhat frequently?
I would say... Yes. If I have something to do, I can be on daily. Although, I might get distracted from time to time.
5. Will you point at Starlurk and laugh on my command?
*shrug* Only if I know she will take it well enough.

3. If I'm in an emotional mood, pretty good. If not, only ok.
4. I should be able to come here every time I log on. I'll always be on sometimes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
5. Yes, unless she tells me that if I don't stop, she'll ban me.

My Interest in Battling: Aginst other people, roughtly a 5, aginst npc monsters, 6
My interest in Ref'ing battles: 9 I like compairing stratigies, and focusing the flow of combat.
My ability to write descriptively: Well, due to the moon shineing on the water, contorting due to the gentle breeze causing minor waves that lap hungrilly at the sandy beach... I'd say I can be fairly descriptive.
Will I be able to attend Battle Forest daily: I'm online every day, and if I know I have to be somewhere to do something, I make it a definate plan.
Will I point and laugh at starlurk at your command: Probably, but then again, after my conversation with Ms. Starlurk, I realise she has a great sense of humor, and is a very kind and understanding person, whom I consider a friend. And friends can always laugh at each other.
