1. First I buy a really good bed (so they don't waste all their time sleeping), then (in order) I buy a phone, a bookshelf, a chair, a fridge, a stove, a fire alarm, a toilet, a shower. Everything after that is just extras. xd

2. I sit everyone down for a cooking lesson. No one is allowed to cook anything until they have at least 2 bars. Then the neighbors usually come over and interupt everything so I say hello to them, then send them away. They usually just spend the first day learning to cook. And when they get tired of reading, i make them watch the yummy channel. cool

3. I always thourghouly check everyone's levels, wants/fears, relationships, skills, and qued up tasks, and then que up any other tasks that I want them to work on before I ever hit play. I'm a little a**l like that I guess. confused

The first object I buy for my sims are beds. They're not always the best beds, because I spend most of the money building the actual houses. I usually don't use the premade ones unless I do.

I like to let the Sims wander around in a "What's This?" fury. Seriously, that never gets old. I build skill if it's a sim I want to build skill for. I usually don't cook until they're really hungry on the first day, and if a fire starts that's all fine and dandy entertainment. So far I've only had one cooking fire. I guess my sims are just naturally good cooks.

When I come back to a saved lot the first thing I do is try to remember what it was I was doing before and searching through what routine I was in. I check their wants/fear and needs. And so on and so forth.

Wow I should really let my sims run amuck like that too. I mean I sometimes do that with my family I'm doing now(legacy) and that has cause disaters along the lines of getting fired, social worker, crazy psychitrist(sp?), social bunny, the nanny stealing things from me because I didn't pay attention to my money, fires, my old lady getting scared to death(literally) by her own mother's ghost, etc. The list is very long, though can be amusing.I guess since I put all my mishaps in the album, when I have internet at the other house I can post my story and you guys can all laugh at my misfortune. lol its pretty funny... rofl

wow... i guess i've never really done that... let my sims run amuck. i've also never had any of my sims below green in aspiration, i've never been robbed, abducted, though i've been repo'd once... i usually don't use the nanny, and i've never met the psychiatrist or the social bunny. I credit that to my playing style... i have an iron fist when it comes to my sims and i don't let them do much of anything on their own. Maybe i should let one of my families go crazy though... that might be interesting, the black sheep strain. smile haha I know just who I'll do it to! twisted *tip toes off, sneaky-vampire style* mwuahahaha

I'm not a mean person, but. . .

Sometimes I like to see if my sims will start fires. They usually outsmart me and don't. And sometimes getting the social bunny is a goal.

I've had things stolen and I've been repo'd. . . but nothing too insane. I'm usually a good mommy to my simmies. C:

I would like to read some crazy stories, though. biggrin DD

The first objects are usually the essentials. You know, bed, fridge, toilet. It depends on if I'm using motherlode or not. Otherwise, I go all out and make their house full of expensive objects.

The first thing they do when they move onto the lot is start upping their skills. Espically cooking. Then I get them jobs and go from there.

When I come back to a saved lot, I find where all the Sims are and what they are doing, check their moods and their wants and such. Then I'll check their jobs if it's been a while.

The first objects I buy are usually the ones that my Sims want to have. That way I don't forget, and they can get some aspiration points.

The first thing I do when I move them to a lot depends on whatever I plan to do with them. If it's a pre-married couple that I want a family for, I have them go Try for Baby right away. That gives them time to do that, then get something to eat and fufill any other needs before neighbors come. Sometimes I have them talk, sometimes I just ignore them until they go away.

If it's a single Sim that I want to have a family, I go to a community lot and try to find them a spouse. If it's a single Sim that wants to stay single or I don't want to have a family right away, I get them a job and work on whatever skills they'll need for their promotion.

If it's a family, I make sure they're all friends (unless I want certain Sims to dislike each other, then I go the other way around). Then I just try to work with their wants and start in with everyday life.

When I come back to a saved lot, I pause and look around to see what everyone's doing, and continue with that if that's what I still want to do with them. Which it usually is.
