The definition of a phobia is a fear that is so intense it starts to control your life.
I am emetaphobic. That means I'm terrified of vomiting. I'm afraid of other people vomiting. Any time someone says their stomach hurts I run away. If I don't feel good I have full blown panic attacks, worried that I might throw up. I haven't thrown up in 10 years but the last time I did scared me so much I'm afraid to now.
We're all afraid of something. No one knows what causes phobias, but we all have them.

I've always been scared of people not liking me. If I thought a person wouldn't like me, or didn't like me, I would clam up, and be afraid to speak or interact with that person.
It's not near as bad now, but I still try to be as nice and polite as possible, lest someone think ill of me.

I'm afraid of people not liking me too. When my friends fight I'll take everyone's side behind the scenes so as not to get into an argument, no matter what my opinion is. This tactic DOESN'T work because when everything gets out in the open I'll have people saying, "I thought you were on my side!" "No you're supposed to be on my side!" So it's a lose lose situation because then my friends acuse me of lying, when actually, I usually don't have an opinion at al.

I don't know what it's called, but I'm freakishly afraid of bugs, especially spiders. Once, my brother said he saw a moth in my room, and I wouldn't sleep in it for a week. We never did find it....

Oh yeah, I hate needles. I started freaking out when my mom tried to take my blood to test at her lab... I was so scared that she missed the vein...

I have coulrophobia - fear of clowns. Though it doesn't really effect me right away, whenever I see or even think of a clown, I get terrifying images in my head and can't sleep or even be in a room by myself, or else I freak (but this usually happens after the clown itself is gone). The same thing happens with most porcelain dolls. The only exception is the one I got as a favor at my cousin's baby shower.

Though it doesn't really effect me right away, whenever I see or even think of a clown, I get terrifying images in my head and can't sleep or even be in a room by myself, or else I freak (but this usually happens after the clown itself is gone).
