Chapter One: Age of Chaos; The Rise of Necros
Many years passed after the initial scattering of the shards as the demons hunted for these shards and those who held these shards were hunted. Names now long lost to history, holders whose names are remembered only in the few passing moments that they had realized their powers. Amongst the demons there are fewer names that have passed unnoticed, but one would catch your eyes more than any other. This demon was known simply as Shadow.
Historically, Shadow was the first demon who could call himself the leader of the demons. His power was said to be vast, but his judgement was poor. It was in this time of chaos that he picked a fight with a shard holder and was lost to the darkness of time. His absence created a space that had to be filled, without a leader to keep the demons in line it was unknown what thoughtless destruction would ensue. It was Necros who eventually wrested control of the demon hordes, and led them onward in their hunt for the shards.
