Definately more advertisement. I think that's what we need most right now. Also we need more people posting in the forums, just joining isn't enough to keep a guild going.

I like the movie topic. I tried to introduce some of theses on the thread as conversation pieces. Maybe if there was more dragon related fun topics like:

favorite dragon characters

I've seen quite a few dragon related pictures on the arena's art page. Maybe we could have a dragon art contest. We should charge a small fee like 50 gold to join the contest then use the gold and maybe some donations to get a great prize like maybe a gwee.
If we populate the guild with interesting topics and do the contest, this might draw some new people to the guild and give them a reason to stay. It is like having a web page, you have to keep it up and add intersting new stuff or people stop coming.

So I've been thinking of a new contest to get new members. Maybe we can do this:
Eligible:
1. The next 25 new ppl that join the guild, pay 10g and make at least 3 posts
2. For existing members that make at least 5 posts within the last month
Contest ends August 1st. There will be a lottery. August 1st you can pick from a hat who wins. Lucky winner can get something nice.
(It would be cool to get a Gwee but that might be kind of expensive. Maybe something worth 5K gold or a monthly letter? We can discuss this and get donations if there isn't enough gold in the pot.)

You can take a snapshot of the guild members page with the posts on the day you start the lottery. Then compare it with the August 1st numbers.
