Just back from Sakura-con, and had an interesting time at the Fanimation Panel.
During the panel, they stated they have an agreement with Gaia (similar the the Mimsy one) in place for Tsubasa Chronicles. Nothing was set in place, but seeing the first DVD is set for May 22nd release, I would imagine we find out soon.

I'm not surprised to hear that that sort of thing will be happening more regular like. I just hope this time, the quest is...well....quest-like xd If they go that route anyways.

About as sold out as they're gonna get by this point. I mean, they took all that money, they're kinda obligated to become profitable. Movie tie-ins are par for the course. And of course, they should begin shilling for Power Ade ASAP.
If they make a deal with Cartoon Network and start promoting Tim, Eric, and/or their "awesome show good job," I say it's time to riot, though.

That show (among many on CN) is complete garbage gonk

Was the last mimzy any good? I mean, I actually wanted to see it. I thought that they made a good choice for what kind of movie to promote based on their audience. I heard a ton of people on Gaia telling me that they had or wanted to see the movie. eek They'll probably have some real quests once the battle system is up.

I have to say the movie looked a bit immature for what I like to think of Gaia as...but you know, the times they are a changin' I suppose.
I haven't seen it, but I have seen reviews for it, and they were not exactly glowing sweatdrop

an e-friend of mine saw it with his kid, he said it was...enjoyable. Although it was pretty much a crossover of Buddhism with sci-fi and freaky-ness. :B

Buddhism?
Now I have to see it.
rolleyes
I think it's funny how people commercially water down a philosophy/religion that's specifically designed to look death and suffering in the eye, examine them, and - not - blink.

Zen Gentleman Lifeguard Buddhism? Uh, yeah, you should probably look up a serious review of it to see what someone who has actually seen it and knows enough about religion to recognize a few things has to say about it. ninja
