Tears of Life


Raentir is a large lake said to have formed on top of a civilization who acted in an evil manner. The land around their city was desolate, and so the heavens opened up and rained down tears and the earth channelled water which flowed into the city and drowned its inhabitants. Now the surrounding lands are green and full of life.

Located at the foot of Gaia's Embrace the lake is said to have the power to cure ills and grant life to the dying. Along the shores shrines to the spirits of the lake have been erected in order to make offerings in exchange for good health and weather. It is possible to take a boat across the lake in order to reach Gladius or to head south into Lossos.
