Both songs are considered the two best songs on Who's Next, amazing songs but personally not my favorites, but which do you prefer?
The lyrics to both songs are great, and I can relate to both to some degree, though I can relate to Baba better. Baba O'Riley has got the amazing ending, but WGFA has 'the scream'. WGFA also has the funky lighting live on the TKAA dvd, and whenever I listen to the song all I can picture is the blue lights coming down and Roger in the middle of it all moving back and forth.
The more I compare the harder it is for me to decide!

BeatlesFreak67 Hard choice. But if I had to, Baba... I wonder how they got that..Baba I'm torn also and I have to go with Won't Get Fooled Again. And btw if you're wondering how they got the name it us a combination of the spiritual guider Meher Baba and synthesizer artist Terry Riley

Probably Baba, everytime I listen to it I have to listen to the whole thing. But WGFA it really doesn't matter whether I listen to it through or not...because I've kind of gotten bored of it. razz

"Don't wish, don't start..." Hmm... I love them both, but I think I love Baba O'Riley more. I feel like I can associate with that song more, and I can listen to it no matter what mood I'm in. Won't Get Fooled Again tends to get me really excited. ^^ "... wishing only wounds the heart."

I tip my hat to the new revolution, take a bow for the new revolution... etc.
I like WGFA better, but Baba O' Riley is a great song too.
