Listen to these hardcore/punk bands and becoming instantly awesome, seriously...they're really cool. Discuss said bands. Also...If anyone has any bands they think I should check out feel free to mention them and I'll do so, I need new music.

Bad Brains, Rites of Spring, Fugazi, Texas is the Reason, Black Flag, Sunny Day Real Estate.
But 3 big recommendations would be Heavy Vegetable, Drive Like Jehu and Antioch Arrow

I absolutely love Fugazi. I like Rites Of Springs and Black Flag some too. I'll check out those other bands you listed, thanks for the suggestions. [:

I believe I have only heard of like 5 or 6 of those, so I will check them out.
Crass is also a really good band :]

The only band I like that has been mentioned is Sunny Day Real Estate. :
I haven't given a lot of the other bands much of a chance though tbh.
