Town's isn't working for me on this computer. I deeply regret that I cannot make it to this meeting, please forgive me. I have one request though. Please will someone pm me what happens. I would love to donate if I can... But I need to know what is going on.

I don't think anyone showed up. Between it being short notice, towns acting up stressed Plus I didn't know till just now redface
Maybe the date should be on a Saturday. Everyone state what time you can be on. Also state what time zone you are in or if it is GST time. That way we can find a general time that would be good for everyone.

Can't do Saturday, i have things to do..
Plus I need to clean my apartment.
I'm pretty much Free Sunday and then Tuesday through Friday.. Saturday and Monday I am booked, each week.

I'm mostly free all the time..the only problem to me is usually the time. My timezone is GMT +2. So the meetings are usually held when I'm asleep.. stare

So then maybe it should be an all weekend thing. Starting from Friday and ending on Sunday. We meet up at the house at what ever time you can get there. If you see someone say hi. If there is no response, just PM them. Because they are most likely AFK or really AFT (away from towns ;D). Then you just say a few words about Narf. It could be a testimonial or just a sentence. It doesn't matter, as long as you're there. You can bring friends if you wish. It won't be a closed thing. It could be on the 19th of May (a Saturday). So it would be from the 18th to the 20th of May. April 19 2008.
Possibly, we could make a tribute. We could wait until April 19, 2008. That would be 19 months after the Zurg first arived. The 19th day, which even falls on a Saturday. This helps so it could be a rounded weekend. We could also have a thread in the GU with an invitation. That way more people can come. We would have a thread in the GU for everyone to hang out at. I would need a few more people to help. I would have the first post, introducing the tribute along with the thread mods. The second post, made by someone else, could make the rules. The third post would be a concession stand or what ever.
We would use all the stuff for the memorial for the tribute. Any food you get from the Daily Chance could be used in the tribute. And since this would be a long time away, also including more people, we could get donations towards it. This way we could get more tables to fit food and such. I know this is all a lot, but it's up to the majority. I'm just throwing it out there.
I almost forgot, the time could be from 12am Friday morning to 12am Monday morning. This is for whatever time zone you are in. So some people might party earlier and end earlier than others and visa versa. The fist person to start the memorial could start the thread in here. You can title it "Welcome to The Narf Memorial : Day One" Then you would post in there until the time you must leave. Letting everyone else know that you where here and now you're not.

I Love the Idea.
I'm all for it! I even like the date in May.
the 19th.
I don't think we should wait for next April though, at least not for the first one.
We could do it for a second one for people to remember. But if we wait for the first one for next year it would be too far out of most people's memories.
And I already have tons of the food stuffs.. I think.
Unless I sold it. But anyway.
And the whole weekend sounds actually like the best plan I've heard.
Great Job! Brilliant plan in my opinion.
