As owner of this guild, I'm becoming really annoyed with the guild front. It's the first thing that people see when they are about to enter our guild and I think it's rather bland. This is why I'm implementing this contest to force people into making some awesome, lavish banner and then give them a prize. I'm not sure what the grand prize will be yet, but trust me, it'll be good! All I ask of you, most loved members, is to get those creative gears turning and through your sweat, blood, and perseverance (or PhotoShop, whichever you prefer ^^;; ) make an awesome banner to be displayed on the front of the guild. It could be a custom drawing, a collage of internet pics, it could be informative or just scream out LES MIS ROOLZZ!!! Whatever it is that you think will give people a good impression of us as a guild community and will thus invite more people to join us.
Good luck! I'll be posting more information as it comes into my head but for now, get to work and we'll all pay off with an amazing facade!

Rules:
I know you hate them but just humor me, okay?
-Nothing inappropriate. Period.
-Make sure it's big and noticeable but not so big that it comes off the page and messes it up. That will lead to disqualification.
-Don't copy someone else's work. That would be plagerism and the law doesn't appriciate that. Trust me...
-Only one entry per body. And don't give me that Siamese twin excuse. I've heard it too many times before. stare
-No bribery. It's not gonna work, so don't try it.
Contest starts: 4/10 and runs to 4/30
Winner will be chosen on: 5/1

Is it okay if I do several banners-as one set? Aka, one banner for info, one banner for rules, etc. all entered at the same time. Winter is on my head, but eternal spring is in my heart.

@Sonata - You can only have one entry but it's okay if your one entry has several components to it. As long as it meets size regulations, it should be fine.
@Flogging - Don't lie, Floggie, you and I both know you're worth much less than a whole Franc... ninja

Hmm...this is slightly depressing. We got a total of one (1) entry. Yup. One member on here who cared to make this guild a better place. I guess I'll tell Del not to try so hard since there's no one here to appriciate it.
The winner is Atomic_H. Her banner will be displayed at the guild front and also linked up so it can be used in siggies as a direct link to the guild. Thank you so much for entering and keeping a tiny glimmer of hope alive for this guild.
