War...It is how man kind solves all of its problems, isn't it? Two countries or political leaders have disagreements and so, they choose to slaughter each other over it. Some play war like it’s a game of chess, slowly making their way through the other's defenses and to their king.
Because of war, experiments were performed to create weapons of destruction and because of war...My life, was destroyed. These experiments...these so called weapons were meant to be smuggled into whatever country or area necessary without detection and so, they were disguised as children and teens. A lab hidden safely underground was in charge of these developments and it was here that thirteen specimens were chosen, stolen from their families or willingly given up, some had none at all. Their memories were erased in order to make them into obediant weapons. Then, the experiments began, injecting them with various steroids, pathogens, and other genetic altering concoctions, just to see what would happen.

In the end, the first four all died, the first dieing in a matter of hours, the second in two days, the third in a week, and the fourth in two weeks. Finally, an experiment survived and then, the testing began. They found that their new weapons, when put next to another human, were almost distinguishable. The only difference was the pale skin that was like that of a porcelain doll, fairer than that of any other human. Along with this, they had the ability to lift things of weights that human's could only imagine. Their speed was amazing, faster than that of most cars, easily reaching 230mph. Finally, their senses were increased to a point that they were animalistic. They could see, hear, and smell better than any beast, wild or not. Eager, they continued the experiments, increasing the amount injected on the fifth project. However, these gave the fifth, code named Crimson, an instability that was...not worth the trouble, we should say. Her constant need for the blood transfusions was an irritation and so, they worked to determine how they could increase the "life length" of the blood.

Now, the reason's for the need of transfusions is simple: the chemicals and organisms injected into the experiments somehow stopped the ability of the body to create red blood cells and without blood, the body can't properly function. Thus, they need the transfusions which can be preformed in either actual transfusions that can be administered through IVs or through an injection which will last up to three hours. These are generally used when on the run or when an immediate transfusion in impossible.

Because of this inability to live without human blood and slightly elongated canines, they were called Vampirisms. All Vampirisms have been marked with a barcode like tattoo on their right wrist which is about an inch long and as wide as the diameter of a dime. Beneath the barcode is a seven digit ID number.

Alrighty, that that you've been introduced to the plot, sort of, I need to explain a few things. First off, you may play one any of these:

Bounty Hunters (three): The experiments that did not attempt escape and remain utterly loyal.

Escaped Vampirisms (six): The escaped experiments

Human: Civilians

Now, should you choose an experiment then here are some...rules:

1) Experiments all have three abilities: One main, and two supporting. These abilities cannot be elemental or involve having animal parts.

2) Experiments look JUST like a normal human. They do not stand out physically in any way. They are meant to be weapons that BLEND IN. I just wanted to make that as clear as possible.

3) They all need blood transfusions at least once every three days. Save for Crimson, who needs them whenever she can get them.

4) I need you to message me a brief summery of your character and their abilities, just to make sure you understand what I had said and that your abilities are appropriate.

5) You must message me you’re profile and if accepted, I’ll reply with you’re ID number. You do NOT choose your own number.

Also note, this is a modernish roleplay. Please, enjoy!!

The next post will be my character description.

Name: Artemis Roan

Codename: Crimson

Identification Number: 512-630-9

Age: Nineteen

Gender: Female

Appearance: Shoulder length red hair, falls in loose curls; dark green eyes with tints of gold; the typical pale skin; Lean body; Barcode on her right wrist with her identification number stamped below it; shorter than most at 5’2” and weighs about…120 lbs; Eyes turn a bright green when she’s in need of a blood transfusion;

Weapon: A pair of handguns concealed in her clothing

Abilities: Enhanced eyesight that allows her to see accurately for a distance that rivals most hunting scopes and thus, her accuracy with a gun is lethal. Also, is able to “sense” others like herself. Finally, she is gifted with an immense understanding of all firearms, how they are assembled, their weak points, and how to best use them.

History: Crimson is the second of the experiments to survive, having been given an immense dosage of various steroids, chemicals, and such. This gave her immense abilities and made her one of the strongest of the Vampirisms. However, this also had crippling effects. Her body is unable to produce red blood cells thanks to the chemicals, like all of the vampirisms, but they also die faster in her blood stream. Meaning, she needs transfusions at least three times as often as the others. Also, whenever she is away from the necessary equipment, she must carry with her several syringes of blood.

Three months ago, Crimson escaped from the lab when she learned of the on-goings of the lab. Now, she intends to break out the remainder of the others and eliminate all possibilities of them even being replicated. Finally, she seeks a way to return herself to normal, to regain her lost life, and finally…be truly free.

The Center…a building of stainless steel and shatter-proof glass. That was the home of the selected few that had been stolen from their past lives to become something new, something useful. At least, that’s what they’ve told everyone else. Here, children and teenagers are being operated on, altered, and genetically enhanced in order to give us the advantage in war.

From the outside, it appeared to be a normal research facility of the ESCU Company of Medical Research and Technology. But, in the lower levels, where every door is security locked, guards are placed at every exit, and few are allowed inside. Things ran smoothly here, the patients were unable to fight back, and only a select few knew of the on-goings beneath the cement slab that the building sat on. However, tonight, the quiet calm of the Center was to be interrupted.

It was three hours past midnight as the front door slipped open, the lock picked. Quietly, the slender form slipped in, shutting the door behind her. After descending two floors, she met trouble but after a scuffle, it was quickly dealt with by two shots of her silenced hand guns. Then, the red haired intruder continued her task. She was here for one reason: them.

Time passed before she finally reached the level that served as the border between the research facility and the Vampirism Genetics Lab. With quick fingers, the code was broken and the titanium door slid open to allow her entry, the guards having already been disposed of.

Crimson, the experiment that had managed to escape three months ago, was back.
