Not to be too strict here, but a few rules apply to this subforum:
First...a couple of basic things to know ...
-Referees will instruct you throughout the battle. They know the protocol of how battles work, so you should follow what they instruct. It makes things easier.
-All pets begin a battle at 100% health -- this does not mean they all have the same health in essence. Higher-level pets will have inherently better defense and attack ability, so the 100% health of a Level 3 pet is not the equal of a 100% health of a Level 1 pet simply based on the fact that Level 3s are more skilled.
Now for the rules...
Do not attempt to cheat. The responsibility does lie on the referee to catch you in the act of cheating, but if you are caught, you may not be allowed to battle anymore.
Do not go out of your way to battle a multitude of people whose pets are of signifigantly lower level than yours. No one likes a huge butt-kickin'. Keep it competitive.
Always go by the instructions and report what the rules ask you to report in the 'Ref Tower' thread. I'm only asking for you to post in there because it makes my job easier and keeps things more organized. I appreciate it.
The rules stated in the main forum by Starlurk apply here, as they do everyone in the forum. I'm struggling enough not to cuss, so you have to struggle too. wink
