Gladius: The Arena City.
formerly Ferral Ferral was formerly a large gold mine. After many years upon excavating the mine simply collpased leaving a very large hole in the center of the city. A city planning enthusiast came up with the idea to market the hole as an arena. A place for tournament fighting, live entertainment and fairs. Because of this the mining city became a bustling metropolis luring all sorts of merchants, entrepreneurs and a very large population. The city itself goes down a little more than a mile. Circulating stairs lead down from the top to the bottom of the city. There is also a newly renovated mine elevator at the top accessing all levels of the city. Places of Interest: the Bazaar, Fight Arena as well as the many Gladiator Champion Statues placed around the city. Tournaments are scheduled frequently, however Championships happen just once every year. Town Rumors: people toward the bottem level of the city have noticed a strange fog coming through cracks in the stone walls near the southeast wall accompanied by strange scratching nosies.

Sirad Nim works on his next creation for the arena when one of his Red Watchers comes in the room.
The Red featherd Bird like human bows to him.
"Squwa... Lord! we have detected a unlawful burst of magic from the city south of Lossos Squwahahah."
His eyebrow raises
"Oh? very intresting its been some time since we have had some gutsy law breakers hasn't it. Go and observe the area to find out more. I want to know who has the gal to break Our Laws."
Squwaking a yes sir the Watcher leaves him and he goes back to work on his creation.

After some time Kaw and Squwa arive at Gladius thier prize in thier claws.
Sirad Nim looks up from his work bench and cleans his hands.
"So this is the desturbance the raven's sensed is it?"
The two shake thier heads.
"Kaaaaw He is merly a pawn we used to find out who was behind it. We had to aresst him in several locations befor we got a reaction, though Kaaaw we are not sure if they are the ones or not. How ever he is guilty of unlicensed Necromantic magic outside the city walls and should be punished Kaw Kaw Kaw!"
"Squwaaa! yes he should. Master Squwa... I also smelled an odd scent on the one person who did try to stand up for him. It was like nothing I'v ever smelled Squwaaaa... She looked and smelled out of place there even if the man she was with said she was his sister Squwahahahahaaa."
"I see... well you two are my finest creations indeed. You have made your master very proud. As for your pawn I find him guilty on all accounts... and I turn him over to your care. put him in the arena as a judgment match. If he lives let him go free. Other wise you may eat whats left of him."
the two bow to him and drag the man off who can only gawk in terror at what was just said.

A red Raven flaped into the window of Sirad Nim's workshop and kaws for his attention. Looking up he walks over and holds out his hand for the bird to hop into. It hops from the window and into his palm.
"A you have news for me little one? Oh I see... hmmm. Very intresting indeed. It would seem my bordem is about to end. Very well go now back to your tasks I'll handle things from here oh and Tell Kaw and Squwa to come here as well."
The Raven flys off and he whips his hands on his blood soaked apron. Taking it off and setting it ontop of the incomplet arena monster he walks out of his office and too the balconey over looking the center of the city.
it had been a long time since chaos had visited Ante perhapes it was time to remind the people of how life used to be without them. Living in fear every day and it was only thanks to him and his kind that peace, if only skin deep, had spread across Ante.

Kaw and Squwa walk in and bow to Sirad Nim.
"Kaaaaaaaw you called us master?"
Sirad Nim turns from looking at the city and nods.
"The Ravens have sensed another power near Batholith. One is watching them as we speak. Go and Release #57. I want to see how they fair aginst one of the undefeated."
"Squwaaa?! Lord that one is Wild. Several keepers lost thier lives just trying to get it back to its cage. What if it attacks the cities?"
"I can understand your consern Squwa. We are here to protect people and lossing #57 would put them in harms way. However we must test the limits of our new enemy if we are to defeat them. Even if that means loosing a small amount of the population. The end justifies the means."
"Squwaaaaaaa... as you wish Lord."
Kaw and Squwa bow and Leave.

Aria had finally arrived in Gladius, it had been a pain getting a boat across the lake but she had to resist using magic for now. She sighed content within this city, there was something just so right about a place for humans to kill themselves for sport.

Sirad Nim makes his way back from the Arena after watching one of his creations defeat yet another hopeful. As he walks back to his Workshop he notices a women. She sticks out more than the rest but not due to what she is wearing. Its her aura was diffrent. He stops and greets her.
"Greetings Ma'Lady is this your first time in Gladuis?"
He says as he bows to her a smile on his lips.

((Grah curses, I wanted to fix my sloppy post before someone responded xd ah well))
Aria looked round surprised someone had the courage to address her so. Catching sight of him her face froze in annoyance but only for a second, a grin like a laugh replacing it.
"Greetings, no, I was here before. It was a long time ago though."
She dipped her head slightly in response.

He smiles at her. A Red Raven flys up and lands on his shoulder. It kaws a few times and he nods as the Raven flys off.
"It was a pleasure meeting you Ma'Lady but I seem to be need else were. If you'll excuse me."
He bows and turns to walk off.

"One quick thing before you go."
Aria took a step forward ignoring the appearance of the raven, she had seen them before.
"I ask that you quietly turn a blind eye to any of my future use of magic. Your restrictions when first put in place were tolerated but now they are just restrictive."
How long had it been since magic was banned? She should of done something about this long ago.
"Of course I will give you fair exchange."
As she spoke through her smile sharp canines could be glimpsed.

He stops and turns an eyebrow raised. Her offer intrested him.
"It must have been some time since someone has asked me that. However I am aware of who you are so you have my promishion to use what ever level of magic you wish. So tell me what can you offer me in return?"

Oh but what to offer one who's sticky fingers are already everywhere.
"There are a great many things I could offer, quietly removing annoyances, but then you already have your perfect system for that. No, I suppose what you would like most is knowledge, I have a great deal stored within my mind. If there is some knowledge in particular you seek, I am not above stealing it from it's owner."
What fun, I should of come to see him long ago. I guess I was just foolish at the time believing he would pass as other did.

"Perfect system humm? I am not so bold as to think of it like that. however its as close to that as anyone can get. Now Knowledge on the other hand.... that is something I am in need of. There is a new enemy that has showen itself. One that has stayed quite for thousands of years. The Elementalists. There kind is a thorn in my side. If they inspire the people to rebell against My laws I would have to wipe the slate clean and start over again. That would be very boring wich is the one thing I can't stand. find out what you can of the Elementalists and report back to me you have my blessig to use what ever force you wish."
He draws a circle in the air and puts his hand through the middle of it sending a small blip of red energy that forms around her wrist and solidifies into a gold band with a red stone on the top.
"That will let any know you are allowed to use the highest form of magic. I look forward to seeing you in action."

Aria grinned and held out her hand to inspect the golden band. Bit gaudy, not really her colour but it will do, it will save her a lot of hassle after all. These elementalists... don't they had something to do with that old crystal, now that was a beautiful event.
"I thank you, it has been to long since I enjoyed myself this much. I'll be seeing you soon."
Dipping her head again Aria took a few steps back and an almost inaudible hum began to grow in her throat with a movement of her hand there was a sound like a loud crack and she was gone travailing away from the city on a shock wave of sound.

Sirad Nim's hair flaps in the wind left by the shockwave a big smile on his face. He turned and walked back to his Work room. It had been some time since he had meet any that share his vision and he knew it wouldn't be long befor he would meet others. It would seem bordem was out the window.
