Technically... Not tickets..
And since AX has moved to a MUCH bigger convention center, our last years numbers will not nearly fill up Long Beach.
No... There is no such thing as AX ceasing the sale of badges...

This might not be the right topic for this question, but I'll see what happens...
I'm getting a two day pass for Sat. and Sunday, but I'll be there a few days before. Is it possable to get my badges validated(checked in or whatever you want to call it) a day before it can actually be used? I know the lines are part of the experiance, but I want to get as much as I can into those two days!!
(Get it OKed a day before I can acutally go?)

I doubt you can, because then you would be suspected of trying to get free days.
Of course you could always ask someone on the Ax forums.

You can get your badge as early as Day 0 - Thursday. Reg hours and days of operationHowever, keep in mind, if you register "early" and receive your badge in the mail, all you really need is a badge holder once you get to con. I'm in main events, working with Angela Wang. She says we're like the Access Control of Main Events.
And I thought that'd be the best place to ask since I always went there if I had a question. smile

Death_Metal_Ninja Glad to help, I really wanted to start staffing other cons. But I'm glad AX is my first. I'm in main events, working with Angela Wang. She says we're like the Access Control of Main Events. And I thought that'd be the best place to ask since I always went there if I had a question. smile You'll like Main Events. if that makes any sense
at most i think the price will just get more expensive.

Wrong No event, no matter the location or purpose is above the law. If the center begins to become so overcrowded that it presents a risk to the safety of people's lives in an emergency the police can and will disperse the crowd and order a cease on the traffic of more attendees. They are less likely to cease the the sale though than order people to spread out and disperse for crisis. This is ideal considering not only a natural disaster break out but if someone collapses and EMT's have to get inside it presents a risk to "one" individuals life if they are in any way delayed by a crowd of people. Also, AX will not and cannot change their price for tickets during the event. Consider this, you buy your ticket at the door for normal cost on the first day. That's fine and all, a lot of people show up and suddenly guy who buys his ticket on sunday is charged 15$ more, that's not really fair, he bought his ticket at the doors just like you did. Also just because there are a lot of attendees registered does not mean that they're all there at all times. For instance, you might have bought your ticket for JUST friday and left, yet someone might have to pay more because the total ticket count is ranging high? Not likely.
