Well, I figured I'd start another generic topic forum. Anyone got a 'worst ever'? Book, movie, part of a campaign, etc?

I had the worst case of food poisoning a few months back. I was throwing up so much over a 24 hour period,I could see some of that yellow and brown stuff that's supposed to stay inside my stomache.

Wow. That's...way more intense than the kind of posts I expected. I hereby declare you king of this forum.
Oh, and word to the wise: leftover pizza=good. Leftover sushi=bad.

I can't compete with food poisoning, but a couple weekends ago I had the worst load of homework. I ended up doing about 270 drawings over 3 days... I also had to read a book, and write a short paper. It was mostly the storyboarding that was a lot of work...

270 is a lot of drawings. Was it for a comic, or something?

it was storyboards, though a comic would have been fun too, they're similar enough... have you seen The Princess Bride? I had to storyboard the fight between Inigo and the Man in Black, using new characters, setting, and camera shots. They just gave us the script and said do you best. (ok not exactly what the teacher said, but you get the gist of it).

That's pretty cool (except for the ton of work, of course.) I can't imagine one of my classes doing that.

Well, the class itself is storyboarding so I tend to get that sort of homework fairly often, only my first version looked too similar to the movie, so I had to redo the whole thing in 3 days instead of a week... It's a really fun class, but a bit of a pain sometimes

Ouch. Yeah. Re-doing 270 drawings: not fun.

Wow. That must've been an intense campaign. Most of the DMs I know (a category which consists predominantly of BigMage) don't do character death unless you really screw something up.

ya? in my experience death happens in campaigns fairly often in some campaigns... one of my roommates was in a campaign where all of the characters died, just because one of them wanted to take the victim of a ghoul attack to the town to have him properly buried... the guy turned into a ghoul that night, and ate one of their injured buddies, and killed the rest since the were unarmored having been sleeping and all... for once the mage had the highest AC... anyway... that was a simple mistake that ended up in 4 pc deaths... so sad...

Wow. That's..intense. I guess Bigmage has more of a storytelling oriented style than a challenge oriented one.
Of course, that campaign's also a good reason for PCs to always sleep in shifts.

true... though they were sleeping in shifts, the problem was that the guy who was awake, got like a 6 on a listen check to hear the guy in a nearby tent turning into a ghoul and starting to move about... (high enough to notice screams of someone being eaten however)
