I had a good idea for what I'm going to do when I create my new Book of Shadows.
I thought that maybe instead of using an actual book, it would be easier to use a ringbinder folder with some polly pockets to put the entries into. That way, the book of shadows becomes easier to arrange into a more organised format rather than having your research, spells etc etc scattered. And for the more creative among us, all you need is a plain ringbinder, and some permanent markers, maybe some glue and bits and bobs to stick around. Bit by bit, that's what I'm going to do.
Discuss:
~What you think of my idea ~Do you prefer to stick to the more old-fashioned ways? ~What kind of things you would decorate it with, if any.

I'm quite arty so I like to decorate mine with beads, shells etc. I also prefer to use a real book, because I like the feel of it more. But it would be a lot easier to organise if it was in a folder...I guess it's a compromise between looks and usefulness. 3nodding

Ok, that's wierd... the only person to reply did it on the eighth anniversary of my grandmothers' death. Wow, that's really knocked me for six. I still haven't started my Book of Shadows, and I won't be able to for a long time. I'd need the time to keep it.

That's actually a really good idea. :0 I was thinking of starting a BoS but didn't want to deal with organizing and everything. So thanks! :3
