The purpose of this thread is as stated in the subject... introduce yourself! You can write a novel, you can write about yourself in one sentence... it's all up to you! I'd like to encourage more than one sentence though, as it's hard to get to know about someone in one sentence (or that would be one really really long run-on sentence... sweatdrop )

I guess I'll start this off.
I'm referred to by all my friends on here as Ref. I enjoy playing videogames mainly action/adventure and rpg titles. I'm heavily into anime my four favorites being Ah! My Goddess, Moon Phase, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Robotech. I also enjoy RPing whenever I can get a chance to as I've Rped as several characters before: Sephiroth, Link, Rick Hunter, Heero Yuy, Domon Kasshu, Kira Yamato, Emperor Palpatine, Anakin Skywalker, Darth Maul, Inu Yasha, D of Vampire Hunter D, Vegeta, Kenshin Himura, Kurama/Yoko Kurama, and Alucard of Castlevania. As far as normal shows I watch House and Charmed. I'm reading up on celtic (druid) religion and like listening to j-pop, 80's, soundtracks, and celtic music. As far as my love of Anime goes I have seen over 200 counting movies and series. I also play 2 MMO's which are Final Fantasy XI on Leviathan Server and Star Wars Galaxies on the Tempest Server.

Well hi there! Ummm..... I go by Sora1339 here on gaia and Sora is not from Kingdom Hearts but from Kaleido Star. I own about 5 of the Kaleido Star movies and I am aimming to get all of them! I have 4 posters from Kaleido Star, and two charater stands, and also one character profile to! I play a few playstation 2 games which are mainly Final Fantasy X, Kingdom Hearts, and Dance Dance Revolution Extream 2! I have a cat to! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE ANIME!!!! And I have palyed a lot of rp games. Characters I have been are Sora Naegino from Kaleido Star, Kiri from Kingdom Hearts, Kagome from Inuyasha, Himeno from Pretear, and lots lots more! Also me and my friend cheriko-chan are creating our own seires! I listen to all kinds of music but I really Love techno music! I hope we can all be friends here, sooooo lets have fun!!!

Hii every one ^-^.
I am called Aki-chan on this site and just love Kaleido Star. It is my favorite anime ever.
I love to dance hula. It is so much fun to learn and practice.
Let's see..... I love to make new friends and expecially like to talk to them. I really want to learn to read and write Japanese. I have not read many anime series because my mom will not let me buy them very often but I am reading the Pita ten. I don't think that they have made a Kalido Star one but if they have could some one plaease let me know ^-^...
Okay I think that is enough ^-^. Hope to see others soon and have a great time..

Well, let's see...
First off, I am a full time student and a college senior this year at a small college (about 15,000 students total) in Kansas. I am majoring in Computer Science with an emphasis in Digital Arts and Video Game Design. I am familiar with most things computer related and art related. My programs of choice are Adobe Photoshop CS2 (and any of the lower ones, as I have been using Photoshop since it's second build) and 3D Studio Max. Those are not the only programs I am familiar with though, those are just the ones I am best at and use the most (on a daily basis). I work on designing and maintaining websites in my spare time and I love working with HTML. I guess I could go into a full list of programs I am familiar with... but there are enough it may be considered spam.
As for hobbies, I am an avid fan of working in the ceramic studio we have here on campus. I also create stained glass pieces. Another pasttime I have is sitting by the lake (we own 3 1/2 acres on a lake in Oklahoma) and sketching in my sketch book. However, I like sketching at any time, it's not something I have to be sitting by the lake to do. I have had a job as a photographer during my freshman and sophmore year in college. I still adore taking pictures whenever I find something that would make a wonderful photograph. I have some of my work posted on DeviantArt. If you would like to see it, let me know. I also enjoy working in Photoshop and 3D Max just to create things I haven't created yet in my spare time. I also love to read. Some of my favorite books are, but are not limited to: The Harry Potter Series, Eragon, Eldest, Castle in the Attic, Nancy Drew books, Daughter of the Moon series, and books by Wendi Corsi Staub. I currently play violin for the South Kansas Symphony as well as the Wichita Symphony. I have been playing the violin since I was in 4th grade and still love playing just as much as I did the day I started, if not more (hmm... couldn't have anything to do with the fact I don't sound like a cat dying anymore... could it? )
I thorougly enjoy Gaia Online, as I have made many friends on this site and enjoy meeting new people and chatting about stuff we have in common. rofl

Ohiyo-gosaimasu! My real name is Ryoko Minagawa. I'm 25 and I'll be turning 26 September 26. I love anything Kaleido star. Been My fav series since 2003. I'm a manga artist and right now I'm a character designer for video games. I started attending and american collage to become, ironicly, an english teacher about 3 years ago.
