I think what happened was, Ninjas were so secretive about their organizations that they eventually died out. Ninja's main objective is to never be seen right? There is also the possibility that ninjas existed up until about 1990, and then ninja turtles came out and they were all so disgraced that they killed themselves. sad.

Well the art of ninjitsu is still taught, so the spirit live on. Also there are still places were the ninja way is taught. But I'm not aware of the exact locations....
Personally I train in the Samurai art. So I can't by any means call my self Ninja.

You really should, its a great form of self defence. Although there is better. American Kick Boxing is arguably the best, supposedly.

ninjistu seems to be alittle complicated. i mean you would have to be very very athletic and be able to move very fast without being heard. i believe there are ninjas out there because ive seen gear and weapons and even outfits when i am looking through the studio's gear manuals. there is even a dojo in Georgia that my instructor has told me about. i would be more interested in busido though.

Or better yet, learn both like me. They really complement each other.

i believe that ninjas exist too but not like they picture them in movies or stuff like that. but it is really overrated as far as being able to just disappear into thin air.
