I have a really big issue here!
Lotsa people think Orochimaru is gay
I also think that is true...
but when my friend asked me why, I could't answer.
Then it started to bug me...
Can someone show me proof so that I'm for sure he is gay?
All I have is this comic that someone made up that was really good about Orochimaru in a Gay Bar

He wears a dress thingy (Which makes me ask, why doesn't he just wear that costume he wore at the chunnin exams? - It looks way better)
He mostly wants the bodies of men, not women - sexist!

Almost (if not all) of his test subjects are guys.

He wants the bodies of men because he is a man. It would be awkward to need to change bodies and end up as someone of the opposite gender (I had a dream like that, and it was awkward as hell). I don't really think he swinngs either way... he's too self-obsessed to actually go into that sort of thing IMO. There is no proof that he's gay, just speculations made by fans.
He did have at least four female followers that we know of: Anko, Kin, Tayuya, and Karin. But remember, there's about 1/3 as many females in the series than there are males, so I think that makes sense looking at it that way.

well im gonna have to go with Hebigami on this... i think hes really too self absorbed to go either way... xd
but if i did make a specualation id have to say gay... 3nodding i cant think of any sort of proof other than he looks like michael jackson and he wants sasukes body but also like Hebigami said, he probably wants the body of a man because he is a man... but i also think the fact that he hangs out with more guys than girls makes him seem straighter, at least to me... blaugh
so theres my take... probly more confusing than helpful sweatdrop

While I acknowledge what people here have said in defense of Orochimaru, I do believe that he is gay, if anything. I just don't see him being into girls at all. But I agree with the others who were saying something along the lines of him being asexual. I don't really believe that he would be interested in anything. As for the proof, I read somewhere that the honorifics at the end of his words that Orochimaru uses in the original Japanese are somewhat girly, or something to that extent. I can't recall the exact wording. So, some people think he is gay because of that. I don't remember the website at this time.
