Tristam’s home is somewhat unusual, much like him.
His ‘territory’ or land if you will, is a clearing that is cut off in the middle by water fall and its river. The only tree inside the clearing was a thick-trunk dark bark tree. Half of its roots were visible as they where directly inside the river. As far as it is visible, there is no spells, no fences, no signs, no scents to keep others away. The forest thickness between his home and the villages and castle are what keeps most away. That, and the fact that Tristam has the reputation of being insane, and not in the funny ‘ha-ha’ insane.

Tristam’s home sets on the branch split of the tree. The house seems as if it had been there before the tree, and was later modify to fit it. The house, by the looks of it, was about a three roomer and hid well in the bushes of leafs. But no door was visible at all and if one looked at the trunk, they would be able to see that it had a door way, cover by just a blanket with the same hue as the tree’s bark.
From a branch that goes out into the river, a long rope hangs, the tip always touching the water, which use is really unknown.

Pushing the blanket aside and walking in, one walks right into a large nest. Hay and sticks here and there, bones and skulls of animals. Jewels and shields and small dull weapons. Pieces of strings, different types of feathers and stripes of different color clothes, though a pair of white/grey feathers stood out from the bunch, the white just seem to glow.
All of it adorning the edges of the nest, and on the center of it sit cool silk blankets. Tree didn’t look as it had been carve out, but as if had been grown that way.
If one looked up, they could see the hole and rope ladder that lead to the next room. The ladder had just one leg of it hanging out from the hole.

The next room was pretty much seem to take up the rest of the trunk. It was a library, with just a desk and strange looking chair behind it, and normal looking chair in front of it. Behind the strange chair set the only other piece of furniture, a large dresser of sorts. The dresser tented to tremble every once in a while, making its doors open slightly then shut close tightly once again.
The rest of the walls in this room were cover in bookshelves well stock with books of all sorts of magic
and medicines. And if there wasn’t a book, there was a small bottle filled with a glowing liquid of any color. From blood reds to sky blues to the celestial whites and ebony blacks and all others.
There was only one section of the wall(besides where the dresser stood) that was empty of books, bottles or even shelves. A mirror was there, the shelves circling it, underneath it and above it. The mirror was tinted ever so slightly with blue and its design-full frame was made of gold and silver, the two metals intertwining as many times as possible.
The library was a good twenty feet from floor to its roof, and there was no visible way of how Tristam manage to get to the books out of his reach.
Three cases stand at one side of the room. One contain a cello, another guitar, and the last, top and smaller one had a violin.

The rope ladder continue father up the library to the next and last hole that lead to the house on top of the tree.
The house had seem like a three roomer, though it was, there was no walls separating them. This part of the house was filled with two tables, several shelves with bottles of strange ingredients and a several cauldrons of different sizes. There was also different instruments, some were easy to recognize, while others were completely alien. In this room there was also a chest that held Tristam’s clothes and a wooden bucket.
Every once in a while, all the windows in the house can be seen open and smoke of unnatural hues coming out from them.

Yami nodded before he blinked, feeling his hair being tug on. He turned his head a bit as to not pull his own hair off. "what's up?" He smile somewhat as he read Maya's expression. "We are taking you somewhere safe for a little while then you can go back to your nest. I promise, it won't take longer then a day" He smiled a bit before he follow still after Maranwe.

As they finally approached the house, a couple of ravens that had been pecking clean a couple of half eaten cooked fish stood still at the sight of them before going back to their food. The noble looked around at the strange set up before looking towards Tristam, who had not stir once, but had mumbled nonsense through half the trip there.

Maranwe's ears twitched with the sound of water before her eyes could find the source. When they did come upon Tristams home she instinctly searched for a door she already knew would be hard to find. Crossing, she walked to the tree and lightly sniffed the air for anything she could pick up from the inside to find the door. If she remembered right it was just a blanket or matt covering the entrance. Setting the egg down for a moment she reached out to find the touch of clothe and a moment later fingertips rustled against fabric. "I still dont understand why he just has a blanket on the entrance." She pulled it aside and allowed Yami to go first.

The noble raised an eyebrow, walking over and entering. "what do you suggest he has-" He stop, blinking down at the nest. "Better question....why am I standing on a nest?....." He put Tristam down in the middle of it and put the staff down. He looked about the objects decorating the nest. ".....And Tristam just got weirder...."

Maranwe laughed at that when she picked up the egg and fallowed. Maya stuck her head in the doorway and sat down right there and waited. "He is an odd one isnt he?" she craddled the egg and looked around. SHe had really only been to his place only on a couple of occasions and that was when she was looking for Damien or just trying to bug Tristam. "Then again everyone has their own corks right?" she stared at Tristams limp form. "You think he will be alright?"

Yami found somewhere to sit down, picking up the skull of a bull. He looked at how white and clean it was. "Odd doesn't even start to describe him. I guess we all have our little strange habits...but a cat that sleeps on a nest?" He looked around at the decorations. "If I didn't know any better, I would say that this nest belongs to a giant raven rather then Tristam." He looked at limp form and then at Maranwe with a soft smile. "Of course he will be alright. This guy is like a cockroach....he can probably over come everything." He put the skull down. "We could throw some water on his face or something. And he was mumbling a little bit ago....something about pirates and ninjas fighting over a cowboy town.....or something like that"

Maranwe couldnt help but smile at that before turning to lightly pet Maya. She shook her head and clicked her tongue, her eyes kept an eye on the egg. "I suppose so..." she looked back at the nest. "It is a little strange..." she flicked her tail, "I wouldnt throw water on him though he might attack you out of instinct." a shiver ran down her back. "I wonder if he needs something....i wonder where we will put Maya too. Any suggestions?"

"Hmm....Maybe Tristam won't mind given her the nest for a while....." He grinned somewhat before tilting his head. "I'll keep my distance then." He poked the unconscious feline before looking at Maya. "Hmmm...well....She could just sleep by the tree.....I mean....Maybe we could make an improvise nest that she can sleep in..."

Tristam started to move, curling up when he was poked.

Yami blinked and poke him again. "Hey, furball, wake up..."

"Five more minutes, sam....." Tristam mumbled. "Just five more minutes....."

"Who's Sam?" He poked him again, watching the feline suddenly twist and laugh.

"Eeek! No! It tickles!" Tristam chuckle and blinked, looking at them. ".....mrrrrr?"

Maranwe looked at him with raised eyebrow, "Well good afternoon sleeping beauty...."

Maya chirped towards Tristam and then disapeared from the opening of the door. But Maranwe did sigh in relief, "I suppose talking in your sleep and giggling stands for your alright." She moved the egg to the side and bowed to Tristam, "Thank you Tristam....." she said softly keeping her eyes to the ground. "I wouldnt have asked if i knew it would have caused you discomfort or pain."

Tristam sat up, blinking. "A griffin just chirp at me..." He looked at Maranwe and smile. "Why would I accept a job that I am n ot willing to do? Fainting is nothing compare to what others had ask me to do. Besides, I don't think either of you want to raise an griffin kit. Believe me, is not a walk in the park." He got up and stretched. "None the less, why is there a griffin in my territory?"

"uh....well," Maranwe blinked a few times and looked up at him. "Her mate....and the creature that killed him....they are still up where her nest lies." She looked towards the door and wondered what the griffin was up to. "I didn't think it would be good to take her up there and see that." Maranwe glanced over to Yami, she must have forgotten he had left the shreded shirt behind....much less took his shirt off at all. "Oi..." she rubbed her forhead and twirled around, "I shall be out looking for Maya." She waved and walked out with the egg in her hand. "You do what manly men talk about." her tail flicked and wrapped around her leg before looking around for the creature.

She soon found maya stuck halfway in the bushes with her lion tail wagging back and forth. "Now what on earth are you doing Maya....." the griffins head appeared with some grass caught in her beak. Maranwe blinked and watched as she trotted passed the feline to set it on a growing pile of grass. "Oh....nest....i gotcha. I am not sure how well Tristams going to take to your remodeling of his yard hun." She did grin though as the griffin walked back to the bushes and dug for more grass. "I guess if you dont have a cliff you just have to make due."

Tristam blinked, watching her go for a moment before laying back down. "Yami......why are you shirtless...?"

"The griffin rip my shirt apart..........Why do you have a nest?"

"Do you really want to know?"

"I am curious"

"I am part bird"

"......................you are pulling my leg, aren't you?"

"Yes."

Yami rolled his eyes. "You wouldn't have a shirt I could borrow...would you?"

"Yeah...Give me a sec..." He pull the ladder down and climbed up. After a while, a shirt drop on top of the Noble's head. "There you go...Should be your sizes...." He drop down onto the nest."Man....I am suppose to teach someone how to use their powers here. And now there is griffin?....I guess I could use a spell or something to keep them safe from each other...."He got up slowly and walked outside, looking around before spotting Maranwe and Maya. "I am okey with it. If she wants to stay here, let her. Its probably safer then the cliffs anyways. Thought I do expect a certain griffin to behave." He rub the side of his head, having a light headache.

The Noble follow out, having the shirt on now. "....Do I want to ask why this shirt actually fits me?"

"No, you don't"

"But it is yours..."

"Yes"

"Did you shrunk or something?"

"Well thats very sweet of you Tristam," Maranwe looked back at him, " I am sure she shall be a good...guard griffin. Not that you can't take care of yourself." she carried the egg bag to the pile and set it lightly in the middle. Maya came back with another beak full of grass and set it carefuly besides the egg. Nudging the clothe she made the steady and patient effort of slowly pulling the bag away and off the grass bed. She seemed to catch sight of Maranwe for the first time as she tilted her head and stretched out her beak. Maranwe raised an eyebrow and was slightly startled as Maya pulled on her braids. "Hey now, why dont you go back to pulling Yami's hair." A small tug and her curls came unbound. She stepped back and watched the streak of cream ribbon disapear in the nest of grass. "....oooh ok if you really want them then i will give them to you." she took out the other and waited for her to turn around again. Maya snatched it up and settled quite comfortable on her nest. Maranwe blinked and Maya gave a soft cluck before resting her head and curling around her child. "I think that means thanks now go away?"

Taking a few paces backwards then turning Maranwe quickly brushed out the loose braids and flipped them to her back. She probably looked like a fuz ball but she wasnt going to worry about that now.

Tristam smiled somewhat, watching Maya go after Maranwe's ribbons. "Birds are quiet attract to those things, no?" He walked to the river bed and sat down, watching the ravens, who ignore him, not seeing him as a danger.

Yami raised an eyebrow. "And that's why I don't have my hair in pony tail anymore...." He watched after Maya for a moment before looking at Maranwe. "so...now what?"

"Well...." Maranwe blinked and looked to Tristam. "Arent you forgetting someone Tristam...someone sort of....purple?" she walked up to Yami and grabbed his arm, "I will send the little human boy down here then," she paused a moment and decided to step away from Yami. Running Towards Tristam quickly she made sure not to throw them both into the river but dipped down and hugged him around the shoulders and planted a light kiss to his cheek. "thanks for your help." walking away as fast as she came she laughed and tugged Yami away. "I need to get cleaned up, i am beginning to look like a bush. We can think of something else to do along the way?"
