Was anyone on the ED last night? My Journal has a very descriptive recount of the events.
In summary:: THE ED NEEDS ACTIVE MODS.
Discuss:: If we can get more MODS. Who should be MOD. Why I'm capitalizing MOD.

Hello there, I was in the discussion with you and the others about the ED last night.
I do believe that the ED, being a forum unlike ones we are surrounded with, does require more mods. It was mentioned that a mod should be availible to look after the ED in every time zone, and I believe that this is very true. Perhaps we may request this, theres a small chance but it is possible.
A new mod should be someone who has been familiar with our forum for years in my opinion. Someone unbiased in nature that wont simply remove threads because s/he disagrees with them.
Also, the person accepted for the job (including current mods) should be one who will be here every day of the month, if this is truly going to work out.

Most of these spammers, unless they get serious punishment, find it hilarious to irritate us. Posting spam in the wrong forum, should have more serious consequences:
First Spam: Warning Second: Deduct 100 gold Third: Deduct 1000 gold Fourth: Deduct All Gold Fifth: Temp-Ban Sixth: Perma-Ban
I enjoy the ED, and I like to observe, the debates and such, to learn more, and make a decision for myself.
However, I'm very dissapointed to see this uprise in spammers.
I agree that we need more ED mods and more mods in general. Even have a Temp-Mod and reward them 20000 gold a month or such.
We need to do something! I'm getting really sick of these "Heyy" and "Vapmires or Piretes" First-off, the ED is meant for people who can type a clear first post, second, those aren't the in-depth debates I know and love.
Reporting is irritating me, having to write "Spam" for almost every report is even more nerve-grinding . I just want this double gold thing to end.

Gold deductions hurt more than bans. wink It would be wonderful if the mods agreed to this or something along those lines. Who knows, depending on their mood, it can happen. x)

I suppose negative gold total might work.
Affaire: I agree, losing gold, will have a more powerful affect.
After my comment on [draken]'s profile I changed my username XD
