I'm a life guard part time, an I always think it's wierd how many people come to the pool when it's snowing outside. Granted the pool is indoors, but still, for me it would take only a few looks out the windows (which surround the entire pool) to make me cold.

What about you guys? Anyone ever see the snowand think gee, today would be a great day for swimming?

Actually, one time I went to the beach in December and swam in the indoor pool at the hotel. The part that sucked was going back to the room...I had to pass through outside to do so. gonk And this was in South Carolina, so it was pretty cold at the time. But hey, hotel rates were dirt cheap since it was in Winter.

lol, I think people are just too use to snow around here. Overall we get at least 10 feet of it in the winter.

I would totally do that, it's actually funny to see peoples expressions when you walk around outside wet in the winter. I jumped in the lake once this past season and walk back to the dorms still wet just to see what people would think.

I also tried going swimming a the beach when the water was still cold. Not in December though, in Spring. But it still was freezing! I got in as far as my thighs, then chickened out.
