Current happening:
heart Day goes to Yylaayl's house for a sleepover.Lime and Goldie arrive, in the morning. heart
Yylaayl:"Okay, see you in the morning. " said Yylaayl. "Oohh, me want story!" said Aqua. "Sssshhhhhhhhhhhh! We'll read a story in our bedroom. Okay?" said Yylaayl. They tiptoed out of the living room and into
Yylaayl's bedroom to the bookcase. "Okay, what book do you want to read?"asked Yylaayl. "I want to read about Goldilocks and the Three Bears."said Aqua. " But I want to read about the Three Pigs and the Big, bad Wolf." said Star." Since Aqua is younger and you already heard about the Three Pigs, we'll read Goldilocks and the Three Bears." said Yylaayl. "Fine." said Star grumbling. " So, once apon a time, there lived a girl named Goldilocks......" started Yylaayl as she read the book. When, Yylaayl was busy reading the story to Aqua, Star quietly left the room. " Mmmmm, fresh baked cookies sound good for a snack. Jason, Roxi, do you want some cookies?" said Star as she passed by them to go to the kitchen.
Day:"Yum cookies!" Roxy said immediately. Jason just cocked his head and srunched up his nose. "What's a cookie?" he asked curiously. "You'll see, they're great snacks, everyone likes them." Roxy answered, getting out of her sleeping bag. She accidentaly bumped against Day and she rolled over in her sleep, mumbling some unclear words. "I also snuck in some soda but don't tell Day!" Roxy pulled some cans of soda pop and a bag of chips from the bottom of her knapsack. "Want some?" she asked Star.
Yylaayl:"Thanks. We have to be quiet. Yylaayl is reading a story to Aqua. Now, as soon as we can bake the cookies, we can get some ice cream to go with it." said Star. "We need some flour, some chocolate chips, some sugar, some water, some milk..........."
Meanwhile........
"........The End." Said Yylaayl. "So, how do you like the story, Aqua?" "It was a great story. What do you think Star? Star? Where are you?" " Shhhh. I hear something. " said Yylaayl. They tiptoed downstairs into the living room.
Meanwhile.......
"Hmmm, Jason, have you ever drank milk? It goes great with cookies. You just dip it in and the cookie tastes soft and chewy. Before we bake, should we put M&M's, chocolate chips, or sugar? Oh well, lets put them all in!"said Star. They put some M&M's here and there. Then, they stuck chocolate chips in random places. They sprinkled sugar and put it into the oven to bake.
Day:The sound of traveling footsteps lingered into the room as stealthily, as though they were ghosts, two figures tiptoed into the living room...
"I thought milk was part of breakfast cereal!" Jason answered, peering into the oven to watch the rising cookies. He then went to go sit at the table when something creaked. As far as he knew everyone was sleeping, but then he wasn't sure. "Wait, do you hear something guys?" Roxy stopped to listen too. "It sounds like a stair, but...Star, are Aqua and Yylaayl asleep?" She asked, hoping they weren't. Roxy didn't know is Star had left her room with everyone asleep, but she definitely wanted that to be the case.
Yylaayl:"Uhm.....I think so. Last time, they were reading a book. I'll go check" said Star and she quietly slipped out of kitchen.
Meanwhile....
Yylaayl and Aqua walked down the stairs. Yylaayl said" Aqua, go check the kitchen. I'll be right back." Aqua slipped into the kitchen, bumping into Star. "Hiya. I smell cookies." said Aqua. Star said"Shhhh. If you want some cookies, be quiet and don't tell Yylaayl.""Got it!" said Aqua and they both stared at Yylaayl who went back to the stairs and fell asleep. "It's okay, Yylaayl fell asleep on the steps and Aqua came to eat some cookies." said Star, adressing the group of candies.
Day:"Okay, this can be a party just for us Candies!" Roxy fluttered up into a chair, pulling Jason up next to her. The cookies were round and golden in the oven, emitting a wonderful scent that wafted into the kitchen.
Beckoned by the smell, Jason toddled over to see if te cookies were finished. "Can we eat now please?" he asked impatiently, "We've been waiting forever!" Roxy shrugged at her broter. She honestly had only a slight idea of how to bake cookies so she turned to Star. "Do you know if the cookies are ready?"
Yylaayl:" I think they are about done. We have to poke it with a toothpick. If anything is stuck to it, the batter, then it is not done."Star said. "I'll go check Yylaayl." said Aqua. She tiptoed out of the room. Yylaayl was still sleeping. She tiptoed back into the kitchen. "The cookies need 3 more minutes. Lets get out plates, cookies, and ice cream!" said Star. "Boy, they smell so good!" said Aqua.
Day:"'Kay, oh and I forgot something in the living room!" Roxy said, and flew to where Day was sleeping. She was careful not to wake her up, but it was difficult. At one point, Roxy saw what she was there for. A bundle of paper lay atop her sleeping bag, and somehow she had to get it. Silently, and as if being blown by the wind, Roxy rolled the bundle closer and closer. "Got it!" she whispered to no one in particular. Day was obviously having a bad dream, because she snatched Roxy's leg and made the package fall onto her head. Whining a bit, Day withdrew into her sleeping bag. "That was close," Roxy said, "it can't happen again or we're toast." She went back through the pitch-black hallways to the kitchen and unwrapped her present to give everyone a card that said Day would buy one April treat for each candi.
Yylaayl:"Cool! Thank-you!"said Star and Aqua. "But were you supposed to give it or Day? Oohh, the cookies are ready!. We've got whipped cream, does anyone want some? " said Star. And what type of ice cream do you want? Vanilla? Chocolate? Strawberry? I'll get the plates and bowls."
Day:"I'm not sure if Day actually knows about it, but she said Jason and I can each get two collectibles. We thought maybe we can get two and then give one each to you and Aqua." Roxy said, elbowing Jason lightly when his eyes grew wide. "Hold on a moment, Jason and I will be in the next room!" she smiled. "But I-" Jason began to object. "Come on." They went away into the nearest room. "Look, you don't even need two collectibles and neither do I. Give one to Star and Aqua, will you?" Jason pondered it for a moment, the words lingering in his mind. "Okay, after all we are friends." "That's the spirit! Now let's go back."
Meanwhile(living room):
Day flipped over in her sleeping bag. She was having a restless sleep, and could've sworn she got hit in the head with some object. Lifting her head up, which felt like it was at leasst fity-pounds, Day scanned the room. Everything seemed fine, but something was missing. I wonder how Roxy and Jason are doing? She wondered silently. Getting up slowly, she found what wasn't there. Two bundles of sleeeping Candies were gone.
Figuring the jokesters went to play with Aqua and Star, Day wandered around the house like a zombie four times, but luckily missed the lively kitchen. "Where the heck is Yylaayl's room?" she whispered to herself. Finally, with many steps, came the stairs to Yylaayl's room. At the top Day could barely make out a door. She walked up the stairs, each step feeling like her feet would crumble to the ground. About halfway through she tripped over a sleeping body, sending her sprawling on top of it...
Yylaayl:"What, what happened?"said Yylaayl, suddenly waking up. "Oh hi Day. What's the matter? Have you seen Aqua? She said she'll be back by now. I sent her to look for Star." " I will go look in my bedroom." She walked into her bedroom. " That's strange. They are not there. Maybe they are with Roxi and Jason."
Meanwhile.....in the kitchen....
"Mmm.....I never smelled something sooo good maybe they just seem so delicious, these homemade cookies." said Aqua. " Or maybe it's your stomach." said Star. 'Shh.... I hear something. Good, they seem to be heading away from us."
Yylaayl: “Star, Roxi, Jason, day and Yylaayl are coming!” said a very worried Aqua as she peeked through the door. “Quick, Aqua, distract them. We’ll lock the door. When they are gone, go to the basement. Turn on the light bulb and you will see a circular spot painted light blue and has a string dangling. Pull the string and there will be a hidden staircase. It will lead you to right here.” Said Star jumping over a circular spot. “ This is how the ceiling spot will look like.” Aqua said “ The basement?! There are huge rats…and, and…spiders…and…” Star cut her off. “ Those are rumors. The only things there are fake cobwebs and plastic spiders I put there. I also made the rumors up. It is to scare away anyone who is not supposed to be downstairs. Go! Hurry, Aqua!” Aqua left the room as Star closed and locked the door. “Aqua! So, is anyone there?” said Yylaayl as she turned to see Aqua at the front of the door. “ They are sleeping. The door is locked but I can hear them snoring.”
Day:"So are they there?" Jason asked, rubbing his eyes. "No dummy, what did Aqua say?" Roxy scolded, very cranky from the lack of sleep. Her brother scowled and turned his back, unable to think of a good comeback. Suddenly Roxy felt very bad about what she had said. "It's late and I'm a bit tired, should I bring our sleeping bags from the living room here? Jason and I can share one since there are four of us and three of them." she asked the troop of Candies. Even through his sleepy brain, he remembered something. "May I please have vanilla ice cream though with the cookies? I think Roxy, your favorite flavor is strawberry, right?" She nodded her approval.
Yylaayl:"Of course! Right now, Aqua's outside talking to Yylaayl and Day. Now I hear some people going upstairs. I think it's Yylaayl and Day. Someone opened the basement. I can hear Aqua coming!"said Star.
What had happened w/ Aqua, Day, and Yylaayl.
"So they are sleeping?said Yylaayl! "Yup! said Aqua. "Okay, I'll be going upstairs" said Yylaayl and she walked to her bedroom sleepily. Aqua quickly snuck to the basement carrying a flashlight.
Day:"Alrighty, let's eat the cookies now!" Roxy and Jason both said, excited. Day went to the frezer and fluttered up a bit to grab the handle and open the door. It revealed tons of ice cream and frozen treats of all flavors, to Roxy and Jason the refrigerator seemed like an invaluable item. "Jason, get plates!" Jason obediently walked slugishly over to the cabinet to retrieve silverware and dishes.
Yylaayl:Aqua stuck her head through the trap door. "Does anyone want sprinkles?" asked Star as she got frosting and cookie cutters down. "You see, I like to cut my cookies when they are just baked." Aqua flew up to the cabinets, ready to get things down. "Remember, we eat quickly, Star and I clean the dishes, and we all go back to bed and pretend nothing happened, got it? Oh yeah, I told Yylaayl that we were sleeping in the kitchen. So, do we need anything else?" Star said" You forgot the fudge sause, silly!" Aqua dropped the hot fudge down and Star caught it. "Now, on to the cookies!" said Aqua excitedly.
Day:Roxy cleared her throat to announce, "I hereby state that this party has officilly started!" she said, then broke out into a burst of laughter. "Yay! I think we should play some games while we eat the cookies." Jason rubbed his eyes again and then started chasing the others, cookie in hand. He jumped on Roxy while yelling, "Tag, you're it!"
The sky, a dark blue blanket over the sleeping city, began to lift. It lightened, revealing a dusty shade of pink underneath, the sign of dawn approaching. Orange streaks were dashed through the wild yonder, creating an effect of dye against hair.
Yylaayl:Star looked up at the sky. "Why, it's almost day!" said Aqua. "I can't wait to see the sunrise!" Gazing up, she saw the sun was waiting to come out. Aqua suddenly started chasing Jason. Then she heard the doorbell ring. Star went to get it. When she looked, no one was there. She looked down and saw a green candi egg! She took it inside.
Day:"Yes, it is!" Roxy cried, stopping to glance upwards into the dawn sky before eating another cookie. She heard the doorbell ring also, but before she could even turn around, Star was back with a green, round, shiny object. "Hey Star, what's that?" Roxy asked. Crumbs were scattered on the floor, and Roxy and Jason weren't happy that they would soon have to clean up. Suddenly, a peculiar golden orb landed on the grass right outside the window with a thud. Curious, Jason stopped running to step outside. The orb shimmered in the light, and by the looks of it, wings came poking out of the sides! Jason was intruiged, so he picked it up, placed it in his hat and went inside.
Yylaayl:"Wow! You found a weird looking candi!" said Aqua as she examined the golden orb. Star asked," What do you want to name this little green guy?" How's about Lime?"replied Aqua. "Sure! After all, he is green, have you named yours yet, Jason and Roxi?"
Day:Hi Lime!" Jason, said to the egg. "You're in good care with Agua and Star." Just as the candies were talking, the golden egg burst into a ball of light. Then she attained the form of a child candi. "Wow, that was quick!" Roxy exclaimed, having just a bit of experience wih candi eggs. "Jason, why don't you decide on a name since you found her. Jason nodded. "Your new name is..." Jason thought for a moment, then decided on Goldie. "Your new name will be Goldie." He told her.
Yylaayl:"I guess that they were in a growth spurt or we found them a few days after they were born." said Star. "Hey, I just noticed! All of you have wings!" said Star. "Roxi, your'e a sprite, Jason you bought the cool wings that Aqua has, and Goldie has those pretty gold wings she was born with." Star sighs. "Aqua really wants to be a sprite because she wants wings of her own and the sprites are always kind. Yylaayl says that she has to wait because she is still to young. It drives me insane because everyday, she asks." Aqua went to the kitchen to clean up the mess. IN the brief time they had been talking, Lime had also turned into a child.
Day:Roxy fluttered behind Aqua with a wet towel. "Yeah, Day said that she might make me into a sprite later, but she has to think about it." Jason explained. "How about you, Star? Don't you want to be a sprite?" he asked curiously. "Day let Roxy become a sprite before me because she was her first candi." He sighed sadly, a little bit jealous of Roxy. All that time, Goldie tried her new wings, trying to decipher some of these words being spoken. She looked up at the two candies, and pushed herself against Star to see if she was friendly.
Yylaayl:"Uhm....hi?" said Star to Goldie. " Well, I have never wanted to be a sprite and I don't think i'll ever will. It sort of freaks me out. And if I did want to, Yylaayl would have to pay for me first and that would make Aqua cry." Meanwhile, Lime was exploring and had managed to climb up the stairs that lead to upstairs and opened the door that leads to Yylaayl's bedroom.......
Yylaayl:In the mist of their talking, Star asked, " Have you seen Star? And Lime?" "Here I am!" said Aqua. She had turned into a sprite. Last night, when you were talking about cookies, and Yylaayl was reading me a story, The phone rang and someone said that Yylaayl won the lottery and a green candi so I new Lime was coming! She said we all could turn into sprites!
Day:"Hehe....hi." Goldie said nervously, then without bothering to fly, scampered up the stairs. Jason watched as she went, then turned back to Star. When he did so, Star was a beautiful sprite! "Well, it looks like you became a sprite anyways." he said, grinning. Roxy came into the room right after Aqua. "Where are Lime and Goldie?" she asked.
"Oof!" Goldie had tripped over the top step of the staircase in an attempt to escape the two candies and also the embarrassment of not being able to speak as well as them. She dusted herself off, the small string-like particles of dust departing into the air. Then, Goldie spotted an open door. The room behind it was flooded with the morning light, and three figures were silhouetted against the window. Two were big, and appeared to be asleep while the third was a candi like herself.
Yylaayl:"Hi! I'm Lime!" said Lime to Goldie. "You must be Goldie. I need to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back." When we entered the bathroom, in the mirror, he saw a strange, refletion, when he studied it, he found out that he was a sprite! "Aqua, Star, I'm a sprite!!!!!" said Lime as tons of happiness flooded through him. When he ran downstairs, he saw Star and Aqua were sprites as well. "Whoops, I left Goldie upstairs." He ran back upstairs to find Goldie. He decided to ask Aqua to help with a little tour with Goldie. " Aqua, I want to give a tour to Goldie, but I need help, can you help me?" "Why of course!" said Aqua. She flew upstairs to Goldie. "Hi! I'm Aqua! Lime wants me to help give you a tour. Okay, we are in Yylaayl's bedroom, she is Star, Lime, and my owner. Yours is Day." She pointed to the sleeping figures." Right now, we are in Yylaayl's bedroom. Over there is the bathroom, and that is Star and my bedroom which we will share with Lime. Geez, we need another bed soon! As we head downstairs, you'll see the living room." They headed downstairs towards the kitchen. "This is the kitchen and the dining room. We were making cookies in the middle of night. And down those stairs will lead you to the 'creepy' basement which is not creepy at all, Star decorated it to scare everyone away. To the door to the left of the basement is the game room! And that concludes our little tour!"Aqua said as they went up and down the basement. Suddenly, Star ran out of no where. " Where were you? We have to clean the dishes."demanded Star. "Oh, nevermind, atleast you gave Goldie a tour, I was going to do that."
Day:
"Yeah, she's still waiting for me in the kitchen," Roxy said, "I bet that Day still hasn't figured anything out yet." "I don't know...I think that Jason would become a sprite first, and then me." Goldie said, almost whispering. She was lost in the thought of mingling with all of the other sprites while not standing out. It seemed scary to her, yet as the same time Goldie yearned to be transformed into a sprite. Who was Day, anyways? Who was Yylaayl? She had heard of them from her friends, but never seen them. Goldie still wondered what their places in her life was. "I'll have to ask Day first." she said, without thinking, out loud. If Day was her owner, then where did she come from?
Yylaayl: Star yawns. They hadn't had an ounce of sleep exept for Aqua who had......2 minutes and Lime was probably fully rested. "Well, that's what you get for baking cookies in the middle of night" she muttered under her breath. "Come on! Let's play a game!!!" Lime insisted. "Fine, lets play checkers." Aqua said. Star played checkers with Lime while Aqua was referee. In the middle of the game, Star fell onto the checker board and fell asleep. “Aqua, Roxi, Jason, Goldie, do any of want to play checkers?” asked Lime. Aqua and Lime picked up Star and carried her to the couch. “I’m a little tired too, Lime.”said Aqua and joined Star on the couch. Lime ran and brought back cereal. "Who wants breakfast? I'm still hungry."
