Okay, another contest means, more rules. Yay.
I give you a section of a book, you post the name of the author, series (if any), and/or book in any combination, scoring is as follows:

Author only, 2 points
Book only, 1 point
Series only, 1 point
Author and book, 5 points
Author and series, 5 points
Book and series, 3 points
Author, series, AND book, 10 points

The person with the most points at the end wins. If there is a tie, I will give another section, and the person with the most points there, wins. The winner gets a prize.
If the names give away the story, I may take out the names.

Without further ado, the section:
"Meanwhile, since I’m pretty sure I won’t be getting any sleep tonight, and since the cards are already shuffled, when Drea asks for a reading, I should, but don’t refuse.
WE sit cross- legged on my bed, the cards in between us and thick, purple candles lit on both night tables. The rulebook says we aren’t supposed to light candles or incense in the dorms, but nobody really pays attention to the rulebook anyway. Plus, Madame Discharge is usually too busy living vicariously through the contestants on Blind Date blasting from her portable TV in the lobby, to even notice.
‘Cut the deck into three piles,’ I say, ‘and make a wish before you make the third pile.’
‘Why the purple candles?’ she asks.
‘To help give us insight.’ I look down at my amethyst ring, remembering how I dreamed about it, remembering how my grandmother gave it to me when I was twelve, just before she passed away."

atleast I think thats right, its been a while since I read it but I remember her name.
