Hey i've been cutting my wrist for the past four years almost, stopped for a year and started back up in january....i'm trying to stop and am only a week and two days cut free but i'm wanting to cut so bad that i start to shake sometimes...i'm scared i'm going to break and relaps and cut again..the scares that remain from past cuts make me want to cut more and seem to be healing slower and slower..please keep me in your prays...i have no one left beside me and having problems keeping my friends because i'm lying to them...please...

I will pray that God will give you the courage not to cut. I know how hard it is to stop. Hang in there. You're not alone.

why stop cutting when my parents still think i am...its seems pointless....i want to prove them wrong but they will never believe me....

With God all things are possible. I know it seems difficult to stop but everytime you feel the urge to cut, pray to God. God can help you get through anything no matter what it may be 3nodding . i will pray so that you can overcome this and i truly believe that you can and you will, dont worry hang in there

ImperfectGirl17 why stop cutting when my parents still think i am...its seems pointless....i want to prove them wrong but they will never believe me.... What your parents think shouldn't matter it is between you and God. Cutting is very dangerous and it hurts God to see you in such danger. Everytime you have that urge just call out to God in your room or talk to him in your head if your in a public place, he WILL help you. Cutting is a very said thing, and no one should have to deal with what your going through right now. I pray that God will help you through this. jesus loves you so much!

i will pray for you and i will also give you advice
although i have never cut my wrist i have helped friends get out of difficult situations.
1. if you haven't already go to a counciler and have them help. trust me this step have saved some of my friends lives.
2. groups help get into one of those social groups and tell your story you can get good advice from those who have been through your situation.
i dont know if you already know this or not but i will tell you anyways
the shaking is coming from your physical need for the blood loss and pain. this happens to exalcoholics and exsmokers too. you may be mentally ready to quit but your body isn't ready this is what a counciler try to fix.
3. last and not least pray it will help your moral and will help you mentally quit at LEAST

give your worries your pain when you feel like cutting pray instead give all to God and he will take care of you i know from experiance

I just stopped cutting in sept. of 06. I wasn't a christian at all and i believed in evolution. I started going to a christian school and thorugh some of my friends and my bible teacher, i stopped cutting. try to make good friends that you can trust, and that you dont WANT to lie to. i know its hard, i've been through it all. I just moved to fl, and i lost alot of family and all my friends, but after it gets so bad that it can't get worse, it only has to get better. try reading 1 cor. 13:13. Its on love. Focus on god and when you have any need at all, Pray. It really does help. If you need a friend or someone to talk to, you can e-mail me anytime. and ill respone as soon as i can.

God can help you. It's hard to stop cutting, but God can give you corage. When you feel you want to cut, get alone (if you can) and pray. He can help you, just trust in Him. I will be praying for you.

I wish I knew what to tell you---I've never had to go through this. All I know is that without my Savior Jesus Christ I would have no reason to get up in the morning, and that everything good thats ever happened to me has come from God. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Phil. 4:13. God is going to get you through this. All I know is just to pray and keep the faith. In 2 Cor. :1 it talks about suffering, and how God can use that to help you comfort others in the future. Remember God knows whats going on in your life and He will get you through it. "'For I know the plans I have for you' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.'" Jer. 29:11

Ok you are also going to need willpower. just prayer won't do it you have to WANT to stop. trust me, i know, i still have the scars and i intend to tattoo over all of them because although most have faded they remind me of a time i'd rather forget. the reason they are taking longet to heal is that yuo are pretty much cutting over scar tissue.
