Sneaking off to a secluded section of the Creux Valley, Elly sighed as she thought about life here. "It's wonderful here" she thought to herself. "I just miss everyone." Keeping her ears perked up so as to catch any tiny sound she spread her wings and looked up at the sky. The warm sun was shinning down on her face. Letting her eyes adjust to the sunlight she started to look around in the sky to make sure no one was around, then did the same for the ground.
Spreading her wings she let out a deep breath and took off into the sky, flapping her wings quickly to push herself far up into the clouds to get out of sight of any of her fellow Creux members. "I don't want them to know where I'm going."
After Elly had pushed above a huge group of clouds she finally hit some clear sky. Letting her wings relax she started to glide south, towards the post office. Keeping her eyes on the ground below she watched as she passed over a river and then the lake. She knew she was getting close to the post office. After a while a smile formed across her beak as the top of the post office came into view.

Liang sat in front of the Post Office, entranced. His gaze was fixated on one of many simple lamp posts that dotted the trail from Wrenshire to the Post Office. "I don't get it..." he mumbled to himself. "If there's lightening in that round ball, why isn't everyone who walks by electrocuted?" He stood up, taking one claw and hestitantly tapping the base of the lamp. It wasn't even hot! He looked at his claw: no singe mark either!
Liang was continually baffled by these humans! They could capture and tame lightening, keep food fresh for weeks in boxes of winter, and even heal the sick with strange fluid-filled thorns! He looked back up at the lamp before hoisting himself up with his back feet and tapping the glass bulb of the lamp. It was a little warm; rather nice!

Elly flew circles around the post office for a little while and decided to land behind the old building. "It's nice to be back." She said aloud. Folding her wings in close to her body she started to descend. As the ground grew closer she filled with joy to be back at the post office, even if it was for a limited amount of time. Spreading her wings back out to slow herself she landed lightly on the soft ground.
Taking in a deep breath she closed her eyes and familiar scent came back to her. She could smell Rufus' scent, he had been here not long ago....and what's this? Another Eoghan's scent followed his. He had been with someone. She smiled as she realized Rufus had actually opened up to someone outside of the family, then her expression grew solemn. "I'm missing so many things..." she said quietly.
Slowly, she made her way to the front of the post office. Her ears twitched as she neared the front. Someone was out there. Peaking around the side of the post office she spotted Liang examining one of the many lamp posts. She giggled slightly at his reaction to the contraption. "He really hasn't been around human beings..." She thought as she smiled and continued to watch him.

Liang closed his eyes and rested his beak against the lamp for a moment, admiring its warm glow. These things the humans had: they were alot like magic, it seemed. His father had once told him that everything comes from and returns to the Earth. So how could it be that humans were so different from his own kind? It was something he refused to accept; especially when humans made such nice things.
As Liang opened his eyes, his beak twitched. There was... a very fresh scent... not far by...
Liang jerked away from the lamp post quickly, and proceeded to bolt around to the left side of the Post Office, paniced. H-had someone been watching him?! His heart pounded and his face turned red, as he felt very foolish... He crouched down near somebushes, his feathery ears twitching with the wind.

Blinking, Elly watched as Liang darted to the other side of the post office. She laughed at his reaction and decided to head away from her own hiding place. She plopped her tired self down on the ground and looked up at the lamp that Liang had just been admiring and smiled. It's warm glow lit her face up.
Looking over her shoulder slightly, she tried to see where he had ran off to. Not being able to spot him she turned her attention back to the path that was in front of her. Many times she had walked it, delivering messages to many of the inhabitants in the village below. She stared off into the distance as memories filled her head. She didn't sense any of her family around. "They must all be out somewhere..." She said quietly, almost to herself, as she sighed and laid her head down on her paws.

Liang stayed low to the ground; not even his tail twitched. He remembered. She was one of the ones who chose to join the Creux clan. The fact that she was here, so close to humans, was... risky, to say the least. If another member saw her she'd be kicked out faster than you can blink. Then again, he and his father had been the first to venture to the post office from the Creux... the odds that another member would fly over this area was unlikely.
The Creux...
Liang wondered how his family was. Though he's chosen to leave them on his own, he had hopes that they would see each other again someday. Shaking his head slightly, Liang shifted around, heading towards the back of the Post Office. He headed towards the small pond near the garden.

Elly's ears twitched as she was jolted from her memories by a slight rustling. Someone was headed towards the back of the post office. Smiling and hoping it was Liang, she rose and softly made her way to the back as well.
Sighing, she wondered how long she should really stay around here. She didn't want to be caught by any of the other Eoghans in the Creux Clan... She had so hoped to see her family while here but that was starting to seem like it was not to be. "At least he's around..." she thought, silently to herself. Reaching the back, she smiled as the pond came into her site. Lots of fond memories with Rufus, Kai and Applejack lingered here.
Blinking, she forced herself out of her memories. She needed to stop getting lost in them. Looking around, she spotted Liang near the pond and quietly headed over to him. "Hey.." She said almost too quietly.

Liang looked into the shallow water at the edge of the pond. The sound of frog chirping chimed in the background, as tiny minnows drifted in between the watery grass. He leaned his head down towards the ground, and gazed at several purple irises that had recently sprung up within the reeds around the pond.
The way this pond sat in the back, surrounded by nothing but grass and no trees, felt so unnatural. But it wasn't without it's own unique beauty; it was little things like that that Liang was still getting used to.
As he watched the flowers sway gently in the breeze, his ears twitched at the sound of footsteps behind him. He stayed still, not wanting to act suprised or suspicious of whoever it was. As a voice uttered out, his instincts got the better of him, as he jerked his entire body around.

Elly, out of surprise by Liang's reaction, jumped back slightly with her wings in close to her. "I...I didn't mean to surprise you." She managed to sputter out that sentence as her cheeks turned a slight red.
She moved back a bit more, ready to leave if he didn't want her around. Her eyes darted around, taking in the small but beautiful qualities of the pond and it's surroundings that she usually to for granted. Doing this was making it possible to not make eye contact with Liang.((Sorry it wasn't more...I'm just...really...Iunno the word. I need sleep. x.o;; xP))

Liang's muscles relaxed a bit as he exhaled deeply. It was a member of the Creux, but not one he had to worry about. In the back of his head, his imagination kept toying with him, showing images of his family pulling him back to the clan against his will. He knew that wouldn't happen; he knew them better than that. And yet, he could not shake the feeling of uncertainty he'd had ever since he'd left them. Perhaps it was because he had only himself to rely on now... who knew.
He turned towards the horned Eoghan slowly, regaining his composure. His shifted his own gaze to the pond where her eyes were, trying to keep his expression as non-chalant as possible. "You didn't. I was just... expecting someone else..."
