Bart Funklemeyer - (strange, I know) would be good for a more awkward or comedic character.
Drake Owens - more serious name, but still unique in my opinion
Well, he's just starting out in his career as a journalist. He used to be a photographer for another newspaper, but decided that he wanted to try something a little different. He's got a good sense of humor, and doesn't really respond at all to people who are short with him or who try to insult him/his work. He's working on improving his interviewing skills, and isn't entirely comfortable interviewing people who are always in the public eye. He's kind of awkward in romantic relationships (although that doesn't play a part in the main plot), but is a terrific person to be around when you're having a bad day. He always tries to make people he considers friends happy.
