Super Dimension Century Orguss (sibling series to Macross and Southern Cross, and a series once considered to be made into part of Robotech) will be being released later this year by the new DVD branch of ImaginAsian Entertainment. It will also air on ImaginAsian TV in June.
This is big new people, an excellent classic will finally be reaching our shores in its entirety-- on uncut DVD. 17 episodes will include the previously produced dubs from the old incomplete VHS release, while the rest will feature only the subtitle track.
The price will be $13 for volume 1, $10 each for volumes 2-8. It's well worth it. However, the DVDs will be available only from ImaginAsian directly and volumes 2-8 will come in a standard sleeve rather than a keepcase (volume 1 will have a case for the entire series). A subscription plan may be available.
This is great news for mecha fans, and something all of you should definitely not miss out on. A lost treasure is returning to us, rejoice!
