Undercover Mods?

I was just thinking:: It's hard for a Mod to see what REALLY happens in a thread just by looking at it. People seeing that purple text will cause them to shy away from debating.
So if Mods went undercover, couldn't they find out the trolls? Furthermore, couldn't they understand how we feel?

Gaia maybe a rising power form it's old self but it's still rising. To have a group of people would be time consuming and rather annoying to there part when they could keep what they do and still have the satisfaction of knowing that there making a somewhat contribution to stop the people who try to make the waters choppy.

We already have undercover mods. Everybody who clicks the "report this thread/post" button is an undercover mod.

and then you have to think about the helpers, their color isn't different so they might as well be considered undercover, I think that idea is basically already done

Mod Gestapo xd I like the idea. If a mod could change their name color temporarily, they'd be able to do things they wouldn't normally be able to do.
