A person's favorite class and role in an adventuring party can say good deal about them.

I've always enjoyed the support role of an Expert character, specifically the Bard. I have a tendency to stick Bard onto everything I do, Bard/Rangers are especially dear to me.

The Artificer (Eberron Setting) is the third of my three favorite classes. Like the Bard, the Artificer is supporter making the rest of party shine even brighter.

Usually, I GM, but of the few time I`ve actually played, my favorite is Dal Tarvosh, a character from the Exalted setting.

Quite a bag of tricks, willing to work in teams, a nice guy to travel with, prone to bouts of feverish creativity and a nasty tendence to pay his debts (nasty for the group, this guy repays mistakes by working for the aggrieved party!).

However, I`d like to play a Justicar-like character. The colsest I`ve come to that is, precisely with Dal, who may not be a justice-dealing powerhouse, but is quite adept at using the terrain to his advantage.

I'm personally a huge fan of the classic barbarians and fighters.

Right now I'm playing a Loxodon Sorcerer.

The Artificer is my new Class of Choice, thanks to the Van Helsing movie.
'A genius with access to unstable chemicals!'

Although I will always fall back to Fighter/Wizard or Fighter/Sorceror if it's not horribly redundant in the party.

I tend to prefer mages, but from systems that like mages, like, oh, Ars Magica, or Mage: the Ascension.

If restricted to the basic D&D classes, though, I like 3rd ed Druids a lot, and 2nd ed Rangers and Mages.

In Werewolf, I usually end up playing the social/mental character, though my Auspice (and thus, "class") is just as varied as the moon. I rarely play Galliard or Ahroun, though, which would equate to Bard and Warrior, basically.

Right now, though, I'm playing an Ananasi (were-spider), which 1) is a first for me, and 2) gets me strange looks from my Storytelling SO, who is phobic of small spiders (tarantulas don't bother her, though).

Bard would be my first coice definately, then it would have to be Wizard for second. As for my favorite Combo bard/ranger gone ardent dillatente. My battle bard will probably stick in my mind when I think of my wierdest bard though.

Rouge/assassin is my favorite, massive ammounts of damage and they never find me ^^

Im in a campaign right now where I play a Warmage8/Duskblade8. This is a good combo. It has excellent magic capabillity with the abillity to wear all forms of armor without acrane spell failure. The Duskblade has the highest attack bonus in the game, an HD of 8, and even more arcane power to add to the Warmage's already massive spell list. This makes for an incredibly balanced character.

My fav class depends on game... but usually I like having options, i don't like being PURE spellcaster or PURE tank...

DnD- Its a toss-up between Paladin of Freedom (Unearthed Arcana) and Wilder (Expanded PSionics handbook)

BESM- Alchemist

White-Wolf- Nomad, I usually go for Swara or Ravnos

Freeform- Polymage

Final Fantasy based- Redmage
